pimp my closet

I finally got all my equipment…
600W digital with Daystar A/C hood
HPS and MH conversion bulbs
6”ducting
Stanley blower
DIY carbon filter
Various CFLs to supplement lighting
I am ready to start construction in my closet (4’ x 4’ x 7’). Ambient room temps are low 80’s day, and high 70’s nights. That will not change much as winter arrives. I’ll have the lights on at night to help a bit with temps, but that will probably not be enough. I figure two possibilities…
Install window or portable Air Con, or install CO2. AC will be a killer on electric bills, but I have not found a good thread for a CO2 set up. I’m a bit confused about the construction of venting etc. I’d like to hear some ideas before I start cutting a bunch of holes in walls, floors, etc. Mahalo.

I'm assuming the temps that you posted are without the equipment set up. But I wouldn't run out and get an AC unit just yet, because although a 600 watter will get hot an AC would be overkill. If you're going to go the AC route you should go out and get a 1000 watt hps or a second light to throw in there (just my 2 cents).

dwtc...very nice cab. Quick question for you. I assume the empty space next to the space that houses the ballast is for clones and what not. What are the black pipes for?

the black pvc pipe are 90deg. angles put together(2). they are my passive intakes. the reason i put them there is because, when i'm flowering, the clone/mom room would shine into the flower room at lites out,,,,,,,,,,,,,dwtc

I might get one of those CO2 buckets, or build a DIY. I'm still a little confused about how to make the room sealed to keep in the CO2, but still vent periodically. I can vent the light through sealed ducting, but still don't understand the room setup for venting. I'm not sure I really need all that space, so I may partition it down to 3' x 4'. My understaning is the 600W digital ballasts approximate a 1000W, so i figure I should be OK with the watts/sq. ft. Mahalo
