Hi everyone,
just few weeks ago I prepared my own oil in a particolar way.
I used the idea of ninja (on O.G.)for the preparation of isohasch, but with some difference. Instead of isopropanol I used alcool ethilic at 95%, because tha ethanol have a best properties for the extr. respect to isopropanol.
To shake the ganja into the solvent I use minipimer instead of handlyshaking, I don't lose any mg of THC because the chopping is done directly in solvent!!
So, I put my trimming and my bud into a becker, with an appropriate volume of ethanol( to cover the bud), I chopped them with minipimer for 60"/90".
The time is so short to avoid to solubilize grease, terpens, etc. and to have a very clean oil. Then I filtered my solution with a coffee filter, I took the solution and I evaporated it.
I recovered the oil at the bottom of the becker.
Some days ago I done a joint with 0.5g of my oil, a very very amazing experience, I could'nt speak with my girlfriend and my arm was completed block!!!

sounds like killer oil mate!
id like to do my own oil but wouldnt have a bloody clue were to start and ive got to wait
9 weeks for my plants to finish. I guess oil is the ultimate in strenth wise and id like to try
some, though im only a beginna and only my second grow, id still love to try the oil!!!

any pics? id love to see what the oil looks like...oh and what strain was it?
and whats the best strain for oil?or is any strain good?

Hi green,
the oil looks like a block of caramel, it is not to much hard, and it have a smell like black hasch.
I used a mix of bud and trimming of orange bud and mazar.
There aren't particular strains to extract the oil, clearly, more resin they have much more oil you can get!!

ive always wanted to try mazar by dutch passion, are the feminized seeds any good or
did you use regular? I know regular seeds are better over all but wondered if anyones
tried feminized by dp. Anyways, back to the oil...im gonna definately try the oil, juss
one question how much would i get from an ounce? roughly. I wouldnt want to mess things up so im gonna use trimmings. thanks tricoma, i was wondering what to do with my trimmings! now im gonna try the oil!!

I don't like feminized seeds!!in particular Dutch passion feminized!!!
I have used 40g of bud(with few resin, a very sad fenotype of O.B.), 20g of buds (mix of Mazar and O.B.) with much resin, and 20/25g of good trimming.
I think that I recovered 3/4g of oil, not more.

Good extraction!!!!

yeh female seeds are a bit of a risk, though im growin feminized cinnamon and regular
s.a.g.e. seeds at he mo, but im gunna try the oil for sure, thanks for the info dude!!
