Yes could be mites. But did you repot recently? How are the roots? Could also be stunted from root/pH issues.

yeah i think it may be root issues . not sure what to do about it they are so small and stunted. maybe toss the worst ones out. its hard for transplants to survive here its so hot, 75 to 95 degrees and useally water temps are 80 to 83 degrees when watering . it sucks because i have no control over that at the moment

just ran some RO water thru a few of them. ph run off at 6.1, ppm seema bit high at 780 ...im gonna try flushing them out and hitting them with some rhizotonic for a couple of days and go back to feed after that

Flush with ph 6.5 if possible. 6.1 is a bit acidic.
