Picture heavy! Aurora Indica, Mandala Safari Mix, and Bubblegum - 600hps 4x4 tent.

Hi all.

Just recently made the switch to photoperid strains. I grew autoflowers almost exclusively for two years because of their speed, small structure and simplicity.

My setup is a 600w dimmable hps/mh in a 4x4 tent. I use promix bx and Maxi-bloom KISS method, which works perfectly with the pH of my tap water. No need to adjust pH. Perfect 6.5 after nutes added.

Currently the tent is way over crowded and is time to start some harvesting.

Inside I have some Aurora Indica from nirvana, some safari mix clones, and a few bubblegum clones.


Here are some pics of my AI.
Grew out a bunch from seed, and flowered em. Got 3 females. Two are very smilar in size/structure. The odd one is much smaller yield, but faster to finish, turning purple and extremely resinous. Didn't take any clones but I wish I had.
They're currently at 10 weeks 12/12.
What a crazy strain. Supposed to be indica but has very few ambers at week 10.

when do u think ull take down the purple one? i have a friend who recently got into commercial production and is doing his first run with nirvana northern lights. i know its only 50% of the genetics but do you have any tips for him?

Don't harvest early. Its always worth it to wait an extra week than to go and harvest a whole crop of mediocre buds!

8-10 weeks on nirvana nl. I miss my cut of that really good yield really sweet weed. I worked with it for about two years. I always cut at 60 but always felt it should go longer. Patience is a virtue.

Anyway great strain prob one of the better of many nirvana strains ive worked with .

Here are the pics of one of the Safari mix phenos. Very very sativa dominant. Today is day 72. The top cola is giant, and the smell is almost nauseating. Living in my area, sativa dominant strains very rarely come around. I can't wait.
Think I should give it another week or two? Or chop? I started to flush today.
Strange, I've noticed that my indicas mature from the top down, but my sativas side and lower buds mature before the top. Anyone else see this?

nice girls. I do recommend lollipop training your plants to get more dense buds. It also makes manicuring much quicker. subbed
