So here is my ngb cab that i have been working on. Its almost done except for needing to make holes for the intakes, which i am going to HD to get pvc elbows for the veg area, and a few other things to finish it off.

In the flower room im going to have a sub floor that is made of 1/4" pine plywood, and will be used as a light trap for the intake. Very similar to DiscoBiscuit. I am going to paint the bottom of the subfloor black and then the top facing the light white. I am also going to cover the flower room in mylar(emergency space blankets) from walmart to help get better use of my 150 hps.
I hope to have more pics up by tonight with the cab ready to grow in. It may have to wait til tomorrow or tue for the plants to go in until i can put the lights from my old cab in here with out fucking up my girls sleep time, and my lights go off at 3pm. Hope you guys enjoy!

i dont know if you are planning on using a filtre but i would ... 150w are far enough to stink around th whole house! ... your vent is big enough to handle one as well!

but the size of your cab for 150w will work out pretty good!

Thanks Mr. Jones! I am planning on hooking up a diy carbon filter when smell becomes an issue. im hoping to make it thru summer without one just cuz the temp in my area are kinda hot and i cant run the ac all the time.

Start making scrubber plans now! When smell comes you'll want to move fast. While my Destroyer barely smelled at Harvest, my 8 Mile stank up the house by week 3 before I even flipped the lamp. You wont know till it happens and you'll want to be ready.

thanks for the head up freezer, you always seem to have a good piece of advice. Maybe i will basically build one and see how much it raises my temps. I also have a small ONA block that i am using now in my flower room, but these bagseeds dont stink too much, but im sure when i get some good seeds it will for sure. Im actually suppose to go pick up a bunch of good genetic clones tonight, so i'll let everyone know what i end up getting.

I have finished the intakes in both the veg and the flower. for the veg is used 4 1" pvc elbows, which i think may actually be 1 1/4". I cut a 5" hole in the bottom for the flower room, and painted the subfloor bottom black and its drying now. i think instead of painting the other side white i will cover it in space blanket mylar too, to help get all i can out of this light.
Tomorrow i will be hopefully finished with the lights and have everything in it or at least lights to run a temp check. I might just kinda have to mess with the light schedule a lil for my girls just to make the transition into this cab. I'll post a few pics up I took of the intakes i cut later or tomorrow.

Nice job on the cab and good selection on the fan. Temps should never trouble you as long as ambients are within reason. Can't wait to see those cuts basking in their new home!
