Good smoke is all that concerns me at the moment. I have done a couple bag seed grows and one now with Masterlow. Any of these have to be better than those grows.
How many plants will you be putting in that 4 x 4 area? Are you looking for indica, sativa, indica/sativa or sativa/indica?..I would say the c99..But then again for a newer grower to the scene I would have to say NL..I mean worse comes to worse grow out a few NL..Then once you feel confident dive into c99..It's up to you..You could surprise yourself and grow out the c99 and produce a beautiful crop.....peace
smoke will be top shelf all the way!
and the sample i smoked was very trippy pot
as long as you keep 1 clone-mother around, you can move on to other strains,
or make more efficient use of your setup by usin clones off the same mother plant,
rather than seeds of various phyllotaxy and height. (phenotypic variation)
make a prime female selection out of the population you end up germinating
based on final product/smoke as well as yield and appearance,
or whatever factors you feel are most important to you and your needs.
keep the cuts in stasis in the frisge or rooted in water/soil
till you smoke-test everyone and find the keeper phenotype(s).
then you can either flower-out the non-keep plants for the helluvit,
or throw away the non-keepers, and focus efforts on propagating
clones off the goldengirl you chose as your motherplant.
you see, your 'noob errors' wont matter at that point.
even the most experienced of growers occasionally run into problems
'dialing-in' a particular strain/plant. some strains are just cunts. lol.
running her a second and third time, with some experience in what she likes and dislikes,
will make you a very happy box o' llama  hehehe
not to mention, a clone-run is always more efficient, as well as more uniform--
which means equal light distribution and more predictablility.
seed runs are a bitch.
so whatever you choose to grow, make sure you keep cuts around.
anyway, you will not be dissappointed with c99
promise
ps- also look into 'perpetual' aka 'staggered' harvesting methods,
to keep you stocked on smoke, well, perpetually
Although I havn't tried most of the strains you have on hand, my old school indica lovin self would have to go for the Northern Lights... especially if you have the Sensi Seeds version!
Theres been a lotta new high potency indicas being created in the past 10 or 20 years since Northern Lights originally came about, but few can stand up to the tried and true original IMHO. Its a forgiving plant that yeilds a large bouqet of delecious and powerful flowers that will put you, your friends, and everyone you've ever known down for the count with just a few hits each if grown right... not exactly a super fruity tasting smoke, but if you get the piney pheno your in for a mouth watering flavor sensation you'll never forget
Argh the intarweb stole my reply! Here I go again.
C99 is a piece of piss to grow. Plants are fairly uniform from seed and are forgiving. However stems are weak and would need support. Some have noted it likes magnesium but mine had no deficiency.
The high is fun though I soon tired of it with daily smoking. This is something I have found with other indicas. (Shurely shome mishtake? It's a sativa! There is little body to it but otherwise the high seems to have much indica influence.) Nirvana's White Rhino was a real dog for this; after only an 1/8 or maybe 1/4 it became very dull. On the other hand C99 was still ok weed but had lost whatever it was that caused all the hype. Note I have no experience of chronic NL smoking.
Why not grow C99 and NL together? They grow fairly similarly and you may appreciate the variety.
If flowering time is about the same I'd grow them all. grow a few of each or if you want you could just grow two varieties. The c99 and the NL sounds like they'd work well together as they are both reletively low odor plants, both mature fairly early and both can stay pretty short. The Super Kush might mature pretty early too but I have a feeling it's a bit stinkier than the other two. Only thing nicer than smoking some good weed that you grew is having a lil variety to chose from.
