Not on my computer at the moment and I don't want to link to my web portfolio (for obvious reason.) I'll see if I can find my external HDD and upload some stuff to my ICMag gallery. But, yeah. Been using Photoshop for about five or six years now, Illustrator for three years and Cinema4D for a year or so. Comes with the line of work. I like your design that you posted. Looks pretty nifty.

I've fooled around a little with photoshop, although I never work my budshots with it. I feel you make less effort really setting things up and actually work with light/shadow/perspective/composition once you've got a tool that can 'correct' all the errors (more or less) in a picture.

You can get rid of the yellow tint in a picture taken under HPS light by choosing a camera with a manual white scale (even cheap compact models have that), and then adjust it to your liking.

Hi TJC
i virtually had to live in photoshop for a few years for my job-
correcting the HPS yellow is quite easy

Image>Adjust>colour balance. Then check either the shadows-midtones or highlights box and move yellow/blue slider to the blue side-it automatically previews so you can play around until it looks right.

Or you could go

Image>adjust>Hue/Saturation-select yellows from the edit box and de-saturate with the slider

you may need to bring up other colours/hues to get it to look right-it is good to play around with the Image>adjust functions to tweek it

cheers

This is really sad.

I have been using Photoshop for many years for work. Also Illustrator and Lightwave 3D. I recently worked on an 3D archaeological visualization for a documentary. 3 months of full-time modeling and about 4 weeks rendering the animation on a small network render farm....great experience. Mostly I work in the architecture industry which isn't quite as fun as the archaeological work.

I'd love to share it but it's just not going to happen.

3D visualization is a great industry to work in. If you liked building scale models and Lego when you were a kid then 3D modeling/animation is nirvana. Good pay also.

Same here...

I'm a print and interactive designer by trade, but don't have the balls to associate my ICmag identity with my offline identity.

Ah a purist  I agree, even the cheapest cameras have a white balance that you can set to tungsten bulb to help remove that tint.

If anyone wants some sick signature pictures made, I got nothin but time to kill
