Photoperiod questions.

I'm growing two hybrid indica dominant strains.
I'm in week 2 and have seen no crystals, calyx or any type of flower formation. Its like still vegging.

I'm running 12/12 from 18/7

The first Two or three weeks of 12 12 your plants go through a strech period. They wont really start to put on buds until the stech period is over. Be patient. the buds will come.

you might need to hit it down to 11 / 13

can you see any hairs on the top of the plant? I can't see the pic.. by week 2 flip they should have stretched out and you should see a little tuft of hairs on the top of the plant

also, are these sexed yet? or did you flip them not knowing?

Both are females, I think they are little hairs but this is my first grow. I will post pictures of what I think may be hairs on the top.

If the plants were not sexually mature (i.e. showing pre-flowers and/or alternate branching) when you switched to 12/12, then they'll take longer to get into full flowering mode.

Your plants look pretty healthy, but your pots look rather small. the amount of bud produced is strongly affected by the size of the root ball. You may get away with repotting now to help matters, but I wouldn't delay the proceedings!

Edit: I've just seen the date of the original post - you'll be three weeks in by now. Best just to leave them as they are and use bigger pots next time.

Agreed. Just give them time. Being your 1st grow, take a lot of notes. Odds are your going to have a few setbacks. Good notes will prevent you making the same mistakes on round 2
