Phones: Men vs. Women

Who goes through phones faster, men or women?

I think women. The women I know replace their phones faster than I do. They usually break. Screen. Battery life. Whatever.

I've had 2 phones in 5+ years. I know women with 2, 3, 4, 5 phones in that same time.

If I could have soldered as good 18 months ago, I'd still have the same phone. Nowadays, it would have been a $1 repair.

I haven't bought a new phone in over a decade. I had a 3310 till few months ago, now I have a random old Nokia, it's one of the first phones to have a camera.

I have 2 flip phones. One older, one newer.

My thing is I can't text for crap. I get the distinct impression cell phones are designed for women and teenagers and people with small hands. Many were designed by Asian's apparently. Again, small hands. My hands ain't that big. I'm only 5'9". But those small buttons give me a hard time. Even dialing numbers.

Plus I know a lot of males, myself included, that don't like chatting on the phone anyway and my phone use is like that when it comes to shopping as an example. I know what I want, get it and get out. Same with the phone. So I imagine that added use adds to the wear and tear and the life of the phone.

That's right Dddaver..

That's right Dddaver..

My wife insisted that I get an IPhone 6 , so I got a 6 Plus 128gb.

I didn't want it in the beginning but I like it now.

Lots of good features, easy to use.

I had my last phone for many years.

I thought about going iPhone but found out I couldn't take the battery out and don't need Uncle Sammy knowing where I am 24/7....I guess that might be good though, if I ever forget where I am I could just call up my buddy Barry.

If you take pictures they are GPS tagged so you need to turn that feature off.

The iPhone really keeps track of you and I was worried about that.

Then I thought W.T.F. Do I really care. I'm not doing anything illegal.

If I want to get cryptic I use TOR.

If the cops come to my house we can talk outside. But my legal grow is of no concern to anybody.

I like iTunes as I have loaded 2700+ from my music collection and it is a great way to take your tunes with you, on your phone.

I feel like Star Trek is just about here.

Hmmm. I guess I've been rambling, so I will stop and finish my joint.

Peace

I got my first smartphone ever last year and started off with LG G2...still kicking.Male here and I use a case so it'll never break.JellyBean to KitKat and now they want me to use Lollipop but I'm not downloading it yet.Too many bugs.

I've heard women losing their phones much more than guys.Guys would still use the phone if the screen is cracked.I know more folks using Apple than Android.

iv been through lots of phones this year, keep managing to loose them or break the screen. Iv got through 4 phones this year, im typing this on a phone with a smashed screen, and picking up my FIFTH phone of the year later today. The people in the phone shop are practically on first name terms with me, lol!

http://www.fixez.com/

I wanted to see how much parts were and the tools to do the job.Seems this is a helpful website if one has tiny hands.Seems cheap too.I watched a guy replace an Iphone 4 screen under 5 minutes and charged $100.But how-to-video shows different.Got to find him again.

I watched the videos on how to repair the Iphone4 and the LG G2 and LG is alot easier to work with.No Glue to scrape off.

Apple6 seems to be easy compared to scraping off glue with Iphone4,,,wow,what a mess Iphone4 is.

Get a case folks! My $600 phone LGG2 is now you can get on Ebay around $200.
Again...Get a Case and you'll never break it.Never broke mine because I bought a case the same day.

Women throw phones. Many have thrown them at me. It hurts when a phone shatters against your skull.

I buy the best I can of the older models. I paid $49 for a Lg LTE because my wife threw my phone... Not at me, but it still broken

I have a Keybo. Feel free to Google that, it's approaching it's twentieth birthday soon.
