Gardeners are reccomended them to me at the allotment , and guides online too bur I can’t validate the ph probes working state even if I buy one as I don’t have a blu lab soil probe yet

are these worth anything ?I am trying to avoid slashing roots in flower to test ph

and before I spend £170. Want to know if these Amazon cheapos even work ? Do they give a reliable reading ? I am sure my ph is 8 and I am dropping it with citric acid I am hoping a cheap o pen can be put in each pot to moniter the decline ?

The only problem with those is they are not very accurate. The probes can't tell the difference between the bottom and the top of the container. I don't recommend using them unless you are a 100% beginner.
Lol fair that doesn’t help beginners much either then eh ? More professionals would be able to find the difference wrong a newb would trust it haha I’ll get blu lab

I have a cheapo like in the pictures. Do not bother. I use ph drops on the water that runs out the bottom of the pot. I have lost the drops btw.

Found the drops whew!! I hate buying stuff I 'lost'. General Hydroponics is the brand about 15 bucks.
