Ph pen guide says "dont use in dirty water?

Hi all, i've just bought a Wassertech ph pen, as it was the only one in the shop. Looks like a decent build.

I'm reading about how to look after them, and have found it isn't supposed to be used in dirty sticky or oily liquids. Would my nutrients be classed as dirty, you think its ok to use in my water/nute mix? Or should I look for a better one? I really do need to measure with the nutes in, as they change the ph.

No your nute solution is not dirty you can use the ph pen without worries.

don't stick ph pen in car oil or salad dressing....its a warning for idiots..you cant just go sticking your pen anywhere lol..your nute mix is fine!!!! ,using it to stir neem and fish emulsion not such a good idea lol...

haha, i'll keep that in mind. As soon as I saw the "no dirty liquids" I started thinking of all the crap that goes in my organic nutes, mainly the poo.
