PH? Overwatering? Underwatering? or N?

goddamnit, i just got these sensi star clones from the club, transplanted them into happyfrog soil, watered them with a drop of earth juice veg, and now theyre not doing so well, especially the little guy. any idea what this may be specifically? The other three are growing, but still showing some leaf discoloration....

theyre under a 4xt5 floro in 1.5 gal pots. i dont have a ph meter, but i just bought the soil from a reputable store and the water from a grocery store....

go buy a 5 dollar pH test kit at home depot DO NOT buy the cheap (around 20 bones) soil 'meter' they sell at the garden centers and depot, it does not read accurately. buy the manual tests. id buy one or two of those and cut that soil with perlite for yer starts next time.

do you have a fan rustling the foliage all day and night? they look like theyre a bit suffocated, in a hot mix, with shitty fresh air exchange...liek i said nex time churn extra perlite into yer bagged soil u bought,i think i see some chunks buddy!:D
itll also 'till' the bagged soil which evenly distributes important ingredients such as lime and nutrients so that you have no 'hot spots' in the soil and everything is evenly mixed. you are the second person with issues from this new ff stuff that i have spoken to in the past week! maybe they cranked out a bad batch??? dont eat the brown acid!!:D

Your soil looks dry. Water well till it comes out the drain holes. Then, allow to dry out some.

well i'd say that it isn't lack of N since you just transplanted them so the soil should have enough food for a lil girl like that.
check you ph and add lime to the soil if you didn't already; yellowing leaves could be the symptom of lacking of N because of the ph lockout.
i suggest you water that girl very gently, mostl around the stem not the whole bucket, because there's a lot of room for the little one. if you water too much the outer part of the soil stays wet too long which can cause lack of O2 and then root rot, let her grow a lil untill you start molesting her ass :)

Imo that soil doesnt have enough airation [read as perlite.] Watering it well is going to turn it to mud. I would have waited until they had formed a good set of roots before transplanting into that much soil. Other than that they look like they could use some fish ferts.

Try getting some pure bottled water. I really think the problem is your tap water. If they perk up after a couple waterings then you'll know for sure.

they look thirsty in that soil. are there holes on the bottom of the pots.they need AIR! lets get that light closer the them.

Invest in a nice pH/tds meter!!!

Looks like they are missing some key nutrient uptake from your soil and water feed.

Tough call, they look like they are experiencing nute lockout, EJ may have messed up the ph, usually plain soil will get a plant nute wise further along than you are.
Keep the soil moisture more constant, that soil looks much too dry for a small root system.

they are hungry, you should be using 1 tsp of grow per gallon of water

you also need to water more,,,

feed your plants weekly and water your plants when they need to be watered

lift the pots now when they are dry and water them untill water comes out the bottom a bit, not pouring though..... like sprout has stated
also make sure there is drainage holes at the bottom

feed your plants weekly and water them an they will be back your plants are showing lack of nitrogen from not enough food

and droopy from not enough water

wooo thanks you guys for ALL of your responses.... the little guy is starting to perk up, i think i overwatered it because now hes lifting his leaves.... im going to change my nutes to fox farm and get some distilled water for the nexxt couple of weeks... the other plants are still doing well, just the leaves arent looking as green as i would like.... for now im going to water them with plain water, and then in a week start adding the new nutes to make sure everything is straight...
in retrospect, i wish i would have added in some perlite to the soil, which i had originally thoguth would be ok, but the dude at the hydro store said that this soil wouldnt need any perlite, and hes usually right.... i duno.... i think im going to add some perlite in when i transplant them later on during flower.

ethereal, sproutco, scegy, verite, 420kushmaster, brastaman, suby, mynamesnitch and of course, BW, whos helping me out in my diary.... thank you so much....

here are some pics of them now

transplant stress is normal. Especially if they have just come from a different grow. They'll perk up just fine.

Blackmelo, yea, it is normal... this is my third grow and ive never had any issues with transplanting before, but i am also very inexperienced and have also never grown this strain before.... now that i look at them, i do beleive that it prolly was transplant stress with a bit too much water... thx for your help

think i overwatered it because now hes lifting his leaves...

you want them to lift there leaves! the higher there leaves perk up the happier they are!

do not use distilled water unles you know for a fact all your nutrients you are using has everything it needs!

distilled water lacks calicum and magniseum, so if you choose to use distilled you will need to suppliment with them, even then i have seen some people have problems which is why i do not reccomend using distilled water

i would add perlite, always add some perlite, cannabis roots dont like to be wet all the time they like a good watering and take what they need, and then they need a bit time to air out

Nothing wrong with most any water. Usually most bottled water like distilled has a ph around 7 or so. This is too high a ph. Really the only problem with water you might find is city tap water or well water that contains too high a level of some elements like calcium for example. You would just take this into account when adding fertilizer elements to the water and use none or less of what is already present. Professional growers have their water analyzed for the elemental content.
