Yes, ph 7 is too high with any type of growing. I guess your a soilless/soil grower. Try applying some sulfur...3/8 teaspoon per gallon (4.2 liters) of soil mix. Ph will drop like a rock. This is only 1/2 strength!
Its probably not pure sulfur you got that will lower ph. I am drunk. :friends: You owe me one for this... After the soil is wet from watering / ferting, wait 30 minutes. Then pour some distilled water on the soil surface. 2 ounces of runoff should occur. Test this ph. If it is higher than 6.5, (6.2 for soilless growers) apply powdered sulfur (comes in a bag and is yellow ) to the media surface and water in using the rates i gave you before.
