good question cough_cough, do you mind if i add another question about hydro ph meters in here, just thought it would save starting a new thread for a similiar topic?
My local fish store wants to sell me a ph meter for $120 AU. Is this a good price or am i being jibbed?
Good luck on finding a soil meter couch_cough.
All the best,
L&Co
PS: I have a manual soil ph test kit your welcome to if you like, i dont use it anymore.
Thanks for the offer Leeroy, thats very nice and I'm glad you decided to stay with the icmag.,but I have those here and not sure as to how accurate they are. I think like aquarium test kits, they lose accuracy with age(found that out the hard way with my fish tank) and they do not have an experation date.
Hey CCeer, I will post a pic later.I got mine for $14.99 and it works good.Got it at Agway. But they have them at home depot.Ill find the link for ya.They have ones where u add soil in vial and shake it up or the one i have is a probe you put in the soil.
yes actually DWW, I was looking at that one from inside sun. probably end up getting it . My home depot doesn't carry the meters but usually they have the capsuls. I went to a nursery and they had replacement capsuls sold one in a package. Well I needed more. The guy asked me why I needed so many. uuummmm tomatoes planted in pots.
badmf~~ that was my next question , about calibration, thanks
