Ph in Coco

My well water is coming in around 6.8-7 for PH, while reading around people seem to believe that hydro and soilless mixtures work better around the 6-6.5 area, since I'm running coco should I make an effort to drop the PH? Or is it more trouble than its worth since the water is neutral at this point?

Yeah, I'd try to keep your PH between 5.5-6.2. Ideally you should strive for 5.8. Coco does have some buffering capability.

Any recommendations on a PH reducer? Something household would be great right now since money is tight

Super ph down can be purchased from most aquarium stores for $10 a bottle or less. It is very strong and will quickly get your ph to where you want.
Used ph down before and found it to be too weak.

Thanks for the advice guys, I figured neutral would be fine but the leaves are showing some brown patches and aren't growing as fast as I'd like... starting to suspect a lockout due to the high PH. I'll need to use vinegar for the next week, but I'll be sure to stop at the aquarium supply asap.
