you really wanna try and keep it a little under 7 if possible. It may be in the range, but ive seen problems from other people that tried that ph. (seedlings dieing, plants lockin out nutes ect)
Ocean Forest is supposed to be a perfect PH right out of the bag (that is unless you add stuff to it). You can test the water runoff or buy a meter if you like. Kelway makes the best Soil Testers.
I never used to worry about PH in OF and had the best results using that soil.
Actually the best thing you can do is use 2 tbls of dolomite lime per gallon soil mix,I've had the ph drop below 6 during flower more than once before I started using it.If you use lime and balance your nute ph between 6 and 7 you wont have ph problems.Dont count on the oyster shell to keep the ph up in flower its not enough
