Given the level of questions you're asking, I'd stop and wait until you've read through these. Twice.

Pontiac'sLinks

I didn't read every post here when I started but, I did read every title of every post and read all posts that seemed to apply. That includes Greenhouses, Organics and Coco; Methods I will probably never use in my lifetime.

We're willing to help but you have to help us help you. When you've got growing 101 down, come back with your preferred method and cab specs and we'll have a place to start. Welcome aboard  FB

Ummm....

pH: 5.8-6.2

RH: 60% in Veg, 40% in Flower

Temps: 72-75 Degrees Fahrenheit (85 w/ CO2)

I'd give you EC too, but then you wouldn't have to read a damn thing, and I have to agree with Freezer, your kinda gettin' ahead of yourself. You should know all of that stuff before you start growing.

If ya dont lyk reedin' ya kan alweys yoose yootoob.

Just kidding :D.

Ok guys chill i'm just trying to use the site to get what i need to know for my current situation FreezerBoy nice one for them links but i have already found them Philosophelon thankyou for those intricate statistics, i'm doing ok on all fronts bar humidity of 60% i got 50% oh well but i do know my EC is 0.8 though if that helps any further help you can offer me.

I may be on my first grow i'll admit i have a challenge ahead of me but i have actually done enough research into the basics right the way through to stuff i'll probably never do or use but for me that is all part of learning process. There are people on here growing who ask questions that i know the answers to it's how it is nobody knows everything about growing so here we share and interact.

Maybe i could have worded my question better i meant as to what equipment should i buy?
It's all good though i got it all in the end just wanted an unbiased view from people who are using these things. I'm savvy to how the site works now.

Thanks

how are you planning to grow? soil...hydro...indoor...outside?

seed...clones??

how many watts of light do you want to use, this will effect your temps.

how big of a space do you have?

are you prepared to cover the smell?

jorge cervantes has several GREAT books, if you are doing this inside, i would suggest his Indoor Grow Bible, its loaded with all the info you will need.

best of luck to you.

Well, we still need preferred method and cab specs. Does no one any good to give you all the info you need for a greenhouse soil grow if you're growing aero in a cab.

Thanks

Alright, everybody does their own thing, so here's a bit about my regimine.

I grow in 1:1, coco:perlite, with drain-to-waste drippers for all phases except cloning, which is DWC. I'm a relatively light feeder, I use very well rooted clones, and I veg for a long time, so you may want to cut out my late veg phase and/or extend my clone phase, but here's my :2cents: on hydro EC levels.

General guidelines for EC levels:

0.3 - 0.4 --- Young seedlings, Fresh Clones (1st week Veg)
0.6 - 0.8 --- Early Veg (2nd-3rd weeks Veg)
1.0 - 1.2 --- Late Veg (4th-6th weeks Veg)
1.4 - 1.8 --- Flowering (1st - 8th weeks Flower)
0.0 - 0.2 --- Flush (9th week Flower)

When flushing, I flush twice daily for the first two days with 0.2 EC nutrient sol'n, using an amount of sol'n equal to the size of my nursery pots; for example I flush with 10 gal twice a day, because I use 10 gal pots (I use a lamp timer :D). The reason for the dilute nute sol'n is to better flush salts from my medium. Then for the next 5 days, I run straight 5.8 pH RO on the normal cycling timer.

i found this post by CH9...you could start out with this and do very well...

Get one bag of Light mix Biobizz ( peat moss) $12-15
get one bottle of Atami organic Bloom C (use it for both grow and veg) $10-12
get one cooltube 150 mm diameter $40-55
one bulb 400 watts $40
get one extractor of 400 cub $80

optionnal: get a large or medium adjust a wing and double your light surface .

if you want save on cost ,run it 16/8 in vegetation.

peace!
