PH Down with lemon juice?

need some help here, I'm growing in sunshine mix #1, and my water/nut ph is around 7.3-7.5, I need to get it down and the only thing I can get now is lemon juice,

anyone know how much lemon juice to put in to lower, is it drops or a bottle? haha

I already put a few dropes tonight, and it didnt go down, I thought I'd wait for ICMag's peeps for help before to go foward with more juice

thanks

Lemon juice only works for a bit and does not keep the mixture stable long enough; so you will need to get some pH down from a hydro store or a pet store; but as long as it says safe for plants..........

normally it all depends, I would use 3 tsp per gallon to bring my pH down to around 6.5..... but it does not last long and when it mixes with the soil and air it tends to become non exsistant......

so it's only a temp thing and can only last around 2 to 3 days at the most before the pH goes right back up again.

What nutrients are you using?
Have you tested your pH run off?

I'm using AN sensi grow right now, I mixed it at around 600-700 ppm (acording to online calculator),

what is PH run off, it sounds like before and after nuts, if thats it, it dosent change realy, but I only have a fish tank tester with dropes, so its color comparasion.

thanks!

Really???? When did they do this; what department do they carry it in?
Ph is when you water your plant and run off from the bottom of the pot comes out when you water the plant.... you collect it and test it; using distilled water to test the pH you get a more accurate test.
Get some pool pH test strips; those drop kind of stuff is bad and does not work well when it involves soil and nutrients.

garden department, fairly recently.

and to the cat who started this thread,,,,,if growing bud for self, or others, the most important tool is a ph/ec or ppm meter,......the investment far excedes any initial hit to the wallet, and it can make your wallet grow into a pocket tumor if you grow plants the way they prefer, with dead on accuracy. lime
