PH at Flush

Ok folks, I need someone who's in the know about PH.
I've been growing for 5 years now just adding one new method at a time to see the effects it has, so I can truly judge what is making a difference and what isnt. PH is something that I have never worried about until now, but now its the target of my playing. I bought a kit and have been playing.
Now in the past I have noticed that large ass single colas, can suffer from mold. I cured this problem by switching my grwing methods to several tops rather than the one. This has always solved the problem unless I have seeded the plant, as the seed housing can start to rot and mold the plant if seeded too early and the seeds are ready before the trich's are. Now I know I can really help this problem out merely by lowering the PH levels by 1 but,, and here's my question..............

Once Flushed, do I continue to adjust the PH levels of my tap water or do I stop playing at that point?

Now I know I should play with this too and make my own mind up, but I'm out of smoke at this point, I have seeds nearly ready, and a plant with at least 2 weeks to run, and dont want to play, I cant risk cocking this up.

Advice gratefully anticipated,

So your asking if you need to ph balance your flush water? if so then no you dont need to balance your water when you flush.. unless you have some really nasty water..i use my pure unujusted ro to flush with it has a ph of 5.8 to 6.0

take care

Yeah, I agree. There's hardly ever a need to adjust pH with good water, nutes and soil... And adding pH up or down during the final flush will just be adding extra chemicals for no reason

If you have been doing it for 5 years ....why worry now? Just kiddding....seriously,
My tap water is 8.25 pH and 200 PPM. If I use this....I adjust , even at flush time.
If I use my R/O water....it is 6.25 Ph and 10 PPM......no need to adjust it at all.

My theory is.....if you baby them the whole grow with the correct water and nutes and care.......why change when it comes to the most important part.....the Flush......the Taste.

Thanks,
I can't be bothered setting up loads of jars outside to collect rain water, and the neighbours might get inquisitive. My tap water is 7.3 ph and I have (periodically over my learning curve of 5 years) suffered mold probs at the finnishing line. Thats whay this time around I've been playing with PH, and to be honest they grow quicker in veg at higher PH levels but I kept this one at PH6, or thereabouts (at least thats the nute and water PH). No idea about ppms, I add a drop of nutes and pour into the soil. They have taken a week longer in flower so far but I think that has more to do with seeding her than PH levels. Its just that I'm into the water only faze and wanted to give this PH thing a genuine go, not my usual "cant remember what I did last time, lets give this a go and see what happens" attitude. So on this occassion I decided to bow to the greater experience of others, and ask.
Now I have to choose between some of the overlords of cultivation,
Sir Crazy Compozer's camp with Baron Greenfriend, and the lone Lord HOG. I never imagined there would be a difference of opion on this subject,
But thankyou all for replying and trying to help, at least I know that continuing wont kill me, (sulphuric acid in the lungs was a thought I was unhappy with).
So anyway sorry for the ramble, my decision is as follows, I'm going to continue to adjust for another couple of days and then stop. I'll give her a few more days of the normal shitty unadjusted tap water but no additional flush and things should work themselves out.
Thanks for the help,
GMT

Hey friend i recommend you get some ro or distilled water to flush with if this is possible..hard water will leave a foul taste in your flowers imo... no need to ph balance either..

take care
