What's new

pet skunk

cop: my your house smells like skunk.....kinda the smell of the illegal plant marijuana

me:well officer the reason is because I own a pet skunk (show officer skunk)

cop:that explains the strange smell.....

I am going to buy a pet skunk tommorow....its a small investment of $540 and I can get baked and pet it

LOL... here you have to have a permit to own one, which states that game wardens can come to your house any time they like and check up on its health, better check out local laws first. (not to mention that since it is a pet it should already have the glands removed that allow it to spray?)

Pet skunk has always been a dream

Not for police purposes, as I think most sensibly intelligent people know domestic skunks dont spray

But just to see look on peoples faces when they see your pet

And would be neat to have too, like a super cat, that will tear apart your lawn at night

your not gonna want a pet skunk sorry.

ive seen a cpl. as pets, and they were de-scented or whatever the fuk you call it.....same thing they do to ferrets which still fukin reak.

dont get me wrong I love the smell of skunk....i roll my windows down at the first wiff of roadkill skunk.

"la resistance" is on point tho...your gonna have to get a permit, and your gonna be watched.

plus a pet skunk will draw wayyyyyyyyyy more attention than a "carbon scrubber" will.

shit man...i want a pet wolverine (same family as skunk)....but i know better than to try and tame one.

good luck tho

It would be a whole lot easier to get a black cat and paint a white stripe down its back.

New neighbors moved in back in Purchase and started to do most of their drinking in the backyard, friendly and quiet I could care less & I had an open invite to stop in any time and I did fairly often. They drank a bunch and were always out there late, late enough that the skunks and racoons would come through the yard looking for open garbage pails.

That's when they decided it'd be a good idea to feed them, they had every skunk, racoon, squirrel, and bird hand fed in a matter of months, like the Beverly Hillbillies they called them 'the critters' of course. I do remember the name of the 3 skunks that frequented the yard for the shell-on peanuts they bought for them, Petula, Charlie, & Petcha. I forget whether Petcha was the offspring of the Petula/Charlie or if it was a matter of looks, looking like a bit of both. They never once got sprayed or bit by any of the critters which amazed me but why bite the hand that feeds ya I guess.

EDIT:
Do yourself a favor & buy a carbon air scrubber, they work brilliantly and
you could buy several scrubbers and a vortex fan for that money.......

"wyoming" has the only right answer.

"new hampshire" is "fuked"

"new jersey" legal if from in-state, but "oregon" only legal if imported....WTF???

What about a pet raccoon? When I was vacationing in Washington on the colombia river I swear those coons came right up to me and they were taking bread from my hands... such awesome creatures, they were big too.

To own a skunk, the scent glands would HAVE TOO be removed!!!
everyone saying they love the smell of skunk is a retard, and anyone who remotely confuses actual skunk with smelling like actual weed is a retard.

when a skunk sprays, the gag reflex on you is involuntary and you ball up puking coughing and burning!!There is nothing remotely pot like smelling in a skunk....if youve ever been skunked(and i have numerous times)if you ever had to wash your dogs in tommato juice(and i have several times) then you realize skunk is not a pleasent smell and it smells nothing like weed!!

Skunk the weed, used to be real stinky,in a weed way, super strong smelling, couldnt contain the smell...........thats why its called skunk.....but to actually smell a skunk,or be sprayed by one..is much better than just guessing at what you think a skunk smells like!!! :rasta:

In the 20's they were the most abundant pet in the US.....they are smarter than a rabbit and can be trained to use the bowl and litter box,but they must be de skunked!!
