im vegging 54 white widow from clones in soil and im growing in a greenhouse.
the tops of 12 plants are really weird looking almost stopped growing except for a few new micro/mutant leaves and i cant see any insects. a few of the plant are infected all over.
the rest of the plants are looking fine and i have cut the infected areas off and the ones that look worst i have put outside. i have had alot of other insect attacks but this one is really strange, to me anyway.
anybody know what it is ?

the good plants

also this is how they should all look

what do the bugs look like? I think they may be root bound. ;)

Looks like Calcium deficiency, and Potash.. the K in NPK. a full fledged nutrient feeding probably would fix this. But you need to know the ph of your water.. Tap or Distilled? You need to know the PH of you Soil, and run off water. This giving you a great idea of whats going on in your plants root system. please report them if you can get this information. a second thought i saw white milky leaves... possible mite infestation....

This could really be a multitude of problems. i would need to see a full report on your set up before being able to properly try to trouble shoot this with you.

i cant see any insects and i have with great success grown plants about four times bigger in the same size container without any root bound problems.i think it is an insect because it starts in one plant and spreads to all nearby plants in a circular pattern, it starts in the fresh grow tips but will spread to the rest of the plant if untreated. :fsu:

arg long post gone....

Anyways.. let me roll this J........................damn too tight..

Ok, so i believe it could be a virus os somesort as well. have you ever heard of the Tobacco Mosaic Virus?

I really think you need a 60 X microscope from Radio Shack. You need to identify any pest, if they really are there. So you can form a plan of attack. Otherwise you are just laying on the ground. Lets take care of this.

there is no radio shack in denmark, but i found a 50-200X usb microscope in sweden and i am waiting for it to be shipped. with a magnifying glass i can see small specs moving around but they are too small to identify. i really hope the m.scope gets here soon before i loose all 54 plants.

I've had plants start mutating sometimes after a transplant or just because the roots were disturbed. Sudden mutation is a good indication of root damage

i suspect root damage. Small bugs crowling on earth and on pots.
They are max 1 mm long, are light brown or grey and have 2 antenas and 3 pairs of legs (if i saw ok, because are so small).
On roots i dont see any damage and i cant figure out what bugs they are.
What thise bugs could be and how to get rid of them?
