Pest Beneficial Bugs for Spider Mites

I was wondering which bugs people had great success using. Ive heard alot of things:

-Ladybugs are great/ Ladybugs dont like spidermites
-Predatory mites work/ predatory mites dont like the rh that grow rooms have
-spidermite destroyers seem like a good option and can withstand lower RH

Also dont predatory mites do the same things(infest, produce eggs, webs etc) but just dont abuse the plant? Do must beneficiary bugs sort of do similar "gross" (aesthetic) things to the plant as bad bugs minus the harm to the plant?

Please share your experiences etc and recommend or say the negatives of whatever you have come across.

Thanks

I have had outstanding luck with a naturally-existing population of ladybugs in a house I used to rent. They absolutely DEVOURED the mites on the infested plants I brought there, and kept them from returning. The only drawback was having to witness their dirty hot bug sex. I don't wanna see that shit!

Persimilis (sp.) works great on spidermites. I haven't seen any webs produced by them but that doesn't mean they don't and yes they lay eggs and keep your predator population up, the drawback is once the infestation is low and low food source for the predators will start to decline. alternatively you could try using floramite, it kicks the shit out of spidermites although I don't think I would use it on flowering plants. You could check out Kopert and biobest for more information on the predators, hypoaspsis is supposedly a good one too but I have no expierence with it. I don't know how much they cost I just work with them on a commercial level.
One thing you could try if you have a lot of time and patience is looking infested plants outside around your area and if you find predators you could try rearing your own to offset costs and the such.

I never actually found the eggs. I think they were different from the ladybugs that you can mail-order- these ranged in color from a dull rust to brilliant red, with anywhere from 0-12 spots, and swarmed into the house in fall. I fed them so well they stuck around most of the winter, lol. I think I have a pic somewhere of them mating... hang on...Caution: NSFW

Yes, I'm a sick voyeuristic fuck, you've found me out. lol
