Personal Creation (Disco'Netics): Grapestomper x Pink Rose

Hello Everyone! Been working on getting my own stuff in the garden, and I popped one of my crosses a while back. Not really a huge fan of grow logs until flower, so going to be keeping track of this one here. The cross is from the Grapestomper clone (which is extremely frosty and tastes like Grape Candy) and pollen from JD Short's Pink Rose. I'll update this post with the genetics for both of those, but Pollen from the Short family was too good to pass up. The seeds have been sitting there for a long time, so viability was an issue. 9/9 popped, five dudded along the way, 1 female was found. I still have 50+ seeds to pop. This one smells floral once veg fully starts, and makes my basement smell like flowers and grapes.

I'll keep updating this one as the weeks go by. I may reverse a cut of her, but I want to see if I can find a male from the remaining seed for F2s also. Please excuse the shitty phone pics. I'll be back to my real camera soon enough!

Grapestomper was a really nice Grape Candy smoke. Not sure about this one yet. She looks like Grapestomper, but smells a lot more floral right now. Pink Rose is Black Rose x Sacajawea #12.

Thanks! I've got about 50 more seeds to hunt through, and 3 other crosses with Grapestomper as the mom. I'm sure I'll find something Grapey in there! This pheno does look promising for something I germinated like 3-4 months ago.

Pink Rose is Black Rose x Sacajawea #12.

From Strayfox's description on another site:
There are 2 main phenos.

• The Pink Rose pheno is short and squat with very little stretch. It has faint berry aromas and is reportedly a light feeder.
• The hybrid pheno has heavy indica flowers with strong branching. Earthy sweet frozen pear undertones with violet blackberry tea aromas. Very sedative.

Not sure which female was used for crossing, or the male that the pollen was harvested from. My pheno above looked like Grapestomper, but it wasn't Grape Candy in smell or flavor. The smoke seemed earthy, so my guess would be hybrid for the pollen selection.

I'm going to make feminized seeds out of the pheno above in the next run. I'll be sure to photograph the full flower cycle next time, too.
