I've heard of it before but have any of you done it here?
i'm running a autoflower plant so i'm gonna run 18/6 throughout the whole grow cycle or an equivalent.
I've broken things down, and came up with a 15/5 light cycle which would work ok with my manual timers.
The point of this is to get more full growth/light cycles withing a shorter ammount of time. It would go as follows.
12am - 3pm ON Start day 1
3pm - 8pm OFF
8pm - 11am ON Transition to day 2
11am - 4pm OFF
4pm - 7am ON Transiton to day 3
7am - 12pm OFF
12pm - 3 am ON Transition to day 4
3am - 8am OFF
8am - 11pm ON
11pm - 4am OFF Transition to day 5
4am - 7pm ON
7pm - 12am OFF Transition to day 6
12am - 3pm ON
3pm - 8pm OFF
8pm - 11am ON Transition to day 7
11am - 4pm OFF
4pm - 7am ON Transition to day 8
7am - 12pm OFF
12pm - 3 am ON Transition to day 9
3am - 8am OFF
8am - 11pm ON
11pm - 4am OFF Transition to day 10
4am - 7pm ON
7pm - 12am OFF Transition to day 11
12am - 3pm ON
3pm - 8pm OFF
8pm - 11am ON Transition to day 12
11am - 4pm OFF
4pm - 7am ON Transition to day 13
7am - 12pm OFF
12pm - 3 am ON Transition to day 14
3am - 8am OFF
8am - 11pm ON
11pm - 4am OFF Transition to day 15
4am - 7pm ON
7pm - 12am OFF
AND SO ON......
this setup would allow me to get 18 light cycles...in 15 days time..overall giving me about a week or 2 worth more of light cycles... I know theres other variations out there...and it works so much better with a programmable digital timer...but...whatever...
