People unable to access cannabis legally - inform cops they need to grow their own

Reading in the last few days,,
That one of those and others who are unable to gain legal access to
Cannabis through the NHS and are unable to pay the £4300 to see a
“ specialist “ and get the script [ every 3 months] have now informed there local chiefs of police that they have no option but to grow there own!,,,
Remains to be seen if they get busted but if you have genuine mitigating circumstances then could this be the way forward????

Sounds like another attempt at headlines. I'm betting they're doing all they can to get arrested for 1 plant. I really don't think getting the authorities all pissed off over weed is the right way forward, its more likely to bring a clamp down on an issue that's losing their interest. These people are all being sponsored by big money that wants to take over the as yet, non existent medical scene in the UK.

Some counties have openly said they won't bust unless there are complaints. They said it wasn't worth spending any budget on. They still go after commercial grows, but who is the victim when it's just personal. Unless it becomes antisocial. Noise/smell/attracting crime. Which means if these counties know about your little grow, but nobody else does, your fine.

It can't be a good idea to build an airtight case for them though. With no doubt in their minds, they may be found negligent without defense. They will come and dig them up, and be pissed off with you. It's almost wasting police time, in the real sense of wasting their time. They may rightly call you a twat, and tell you if they have to come back, your going to court for costs.
