Pentane followed with ethanol extraction? Discussion thread

n-Pentane is a nice solvent and how are you planning to make extract?

I've used n-Hexane with an ethanol purge afterwards so know what can be done.

I'm excited to see what you do with it! I'm completely new so any tricks would help! I was recently thinking of getting this because I heard it helps with gas leaks? And then maybe getting a temperature controller?

I use PTFE sleeves to join my laboratory glassware together when using solvents. Joint grease is not good enough.
