Hey friends,

After almost 10 years have passed since I last grew a few packs of this amazing variety (at the time from Cannabiogen), I've now the chance to explore them again. And do a few things more.

Thank you for keeping her stocked and in shape @dubi and @Ras Pablo (who did the repro I had access to, if I recall?), so geeks like me can have a blast.
No other variety at the time gave me such a jaw drop, with all the extremely delightful aromatic profile and gentle nature. Hope I can find in this pack a sweet black pheno similar to the one I had for a short few cycles before hiatus.

This will be an open pollination using all available males and females. I've decided to throw a few of my favorite keeper females from the library in small pots, and have them pollinated with bulked pollen from all PCK males:
-Runtz Ghost Train 4
-Thai Chi 3,6
-A5Hz S1 2,4,5,6,8
-La Bomba 1,2,3,

Specs & Info:
-12/12 germinated, full pack.
-A microscopic 90x60x98 space.
-150w LED w/ dimmer
-5 days veg
-2L pots for the PCK since early veg and repot after sexing (1L for all others)
-Males will be kept elsewhere after sexing and their pollen collected and bulked
-PCK main colas will be kept as 'sinsemilla' as possible to allow for later evaluation

They are currently at D2 of flowering, 12/12 schedule:

I've numbered them from #1 to #12 based on the growth rate of their respective original mother plant. (#1 being the fastest, and so on).

Several clones were rushed in order to keep the process going in a timely manner.
I've scooped them from domed jiffies to pots, the stress triggered really strange responses from a few females. Gnarly! They are resuming now with normal growth, thankfully.

Thai Chi 3, will be nice to revisit her too:

Hope you peeps enjoy, let's see how the hunt goes!

D15 - 12/12

Turns out that from 12 we have 7 females and 5 males. Some of the PCK males are throwing a few stigma here and there. I'll be letting everyone participate in the OP nonetheless.
So far we have green males and females, pink and purple as well.

One of the males is a freakshow, #5 (front row 5th from left)
D15 (5).jpg

Others are more normie but show a quirky leaf here and there
D15 (4).jpg

And this one's pristine
D15 (7).jpg

Females are still shy, but stuff's happening
D15 (8).jpg

After picturing them, all males have been topped leaving only a few nodes left. I'll be keeping them around for a while to see them express their traits and such.

See you soon!

A few of my keeper females that have shown to the pollination fest
Thai Chi#6. Wondering how she stretches so much stretch in a 0.5L pot. Alternate branching af too.
Strange plant, but worthy.
D15 (2).jpg

Her leaves contrast very well with PCK
D15 (10).jpg

A5S1#7, throws sickle-like variegation often. Didn't had the chance to try this one yet.
D15 (6).jpg

A5S1#5, this one seems to have the tendency to self top itself too and looks gnarly. Been enjoying the end product quite a bit despite.

D75 - Harvest day
The pollination went freely with all males until they got culled, around D25 of 12/12. Thankful for your service, nice job.
#1 Forest fruit, cedar oil, menthol, budspray and naphthalene. Complex, intense, the smell bomb.
PCK1 (2).jpg

#2 Sour gas, red fruitish, pungent, less complex
PCK2 (1).jpg
PCK2 (3).jpg

#6 Green apple, fresh and crisp. Interesting green pheno, with quirky structure, resemblant of modern 'exotic' lines. First time I've ran into this type of aroma makeup. Dissimilar to all others.
PCK6 (1).jpg

#8 More subtle similar to others more gummish. Greasy wet to touch.
PCK8 (1).jpg

#9 Sour astringent, similar to #2
PCK9 (1).jpg

#10 Similar to #1. Brilliant aroma, intense and complex. Beautiful.
PCK10 (1).jpg
PCK10 (5).jpg

#11 Spicier, more herbal medicinal.
PCK11 (2).jpg

I can add that I can't wait to run a proper cycle without any pollination ongoing. Try pristine 'sensi' PCK. Their aromas are extremely desirable. Yum yum.

Hope you've enjoyed this rundown. A treat to the senses, let's wait and see how they feel.

Hi @The Zientist really touching you like so much Pakistan Chitral Kush that you decided to make a dedicated grow and open pollination with the strain 🥰 Glad you found interesting green and purple expressions. Regarding terpene profiles, my favorite PCKs are the forest fruit bubblegum from the colorful expressions (purple mostly) and apple and hash from the green phenos. Female 10 seems to be the winner for resins.

Happy to see you used the PCK males to pollinate selected clones of other strains as well. We have released so many PCK hybrids using PCK as dad that you can easily predict what traits PCK is going to infuse into your other genetics, we even already offer an A5 Haze x PCK hybrid on the R+D section of our website, your Thai dominant Thai Chi 6 female will be interesting crossed with PCK too.

And despite this run is fully seeded, i'm sure you can produce a fantastic hash from this cycle ;)

Thank you for your kind words dubi and for sharing your thoughts.

I find that the aromatic range and profiles in this Chitral pool really tingle my senses. They are extremely alluring and to me they show a lot of potential, both in raw form as well as to be used as breeding material. As for the latter, it will be my first experience breeding with PCK, but I've been admiring your results (and others too) in that regard.

Regarding the females, my favorites are as of now #6 for the apple novelty aroma and #10 as an overall best of the sibs. We'll see after effect-wise. Like you said, despite the heavy seeded bud look forward to process them. 🤣

I'll be vaping most of the harvest though, after separating the flower from the seeds.
I'm first and foremost a flower lover after all.
After selecting the best females, I will eventually wash a few, ideally when the weather is chiller.

Thanks for being the genetic provider once again amigo.
A pleasure as always.

Take care!

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I had this PCK OP finished. It's already stashed away in cold storage.
Time for a quick 'sensi' cycle using all available females!
Had a couple of months before the summer break and decided to squeeze in this run, have some decent flowers to brighten summer up you know!

These cuts went under 12/12 after a couple days of settling from transplant and tent switch, so not much of a vegetative period.
Here they are at D46 of 12/12...

They are structurally interesting and captivating aesthetically. Aroma-wise, a complex cocktail of desirable compounds, mouthwatering from the forest fruit realm, cedar oil, vix rub, bugspray to synthetic green apple... it's a brilliant genetic pocket.

As far effect's concerned (my core interest), I had a short amount of flower and less than A-grade bud from the previous open-pollination efforts. With that said, I've still found really pleasant vibes that made me recall the previous experience I'd had with this heirloom from a decade before.
It has a zone-assist type of effect, can be really functional and relaxes you enough to organically enter the flow state. Promotes a deep sense of calmness while maintaining brain activity.
It enables enriching verbal exchanges without trampling yourself in thought and damn it interacts well with caffeine. Yum.
In heavier doses it starts getting more drowsy and inward, still pleasant anyhow.

A few display quirky traits, such as leaves (or nothing at all) growing out of nodes where it should have been a shoot, a leaf wrinkle here and there. They have an almost strictly columnar habit without almost any side branching going.

Their floral anatomy, ratio and growing habit doesn't allow to place them high in the yield category, despite in pure form they still are remarkable resin producers. That is with properly sized resin glands that occur ubiquitously throughout the whole plant, including less noble parts.
From all 7 females I've managed to find sifting through a whole pack, only #11 earns an honorable mention in the agronomic traits related to yield and "desirable" floral structure.
All others look more unique, though they are definitely more breeding material than something most would want to be making a cash-cropper or a producing mother, as wisely advised by dubi et al.

I genuinely love PCK!
Thanks @dubi, @Ras Pablo, CBG and everyone that participated in keeping this living heirloom alive and this beautiful.

So glad to see you are doing another run with them from clones! :D This time sinsemilla.

Resin production, yield and the more defined terpenes should be stronger now they are unseeded., so you will be able to evaluate better the qualities of each plant to finally decide which ones you want to finally keep.

Your selection comes from last reproduction Ras Pablo did, so if in the future you want different PCK seeds to widen up your PCK genepool in upcoming preservation projects, would recommend you to add our current PCK stock which is back to our green and purple elites. By combining both Ras Pablo offspring with ours (which are produced from different parent plants), you will have higher chances to find more great plants and expand and keep healthier the genepool of line for the future.

Hope you are enjoying summer time! ☀️

Hi amigo!

Not only I've had the chance to have this sensi run going, I'm also evaluating them as we speak. 😎👌

I'll post a smoke report and few remarks on what I've been able to find.
#1, #10 and #11 are showing the most stunning traits right away, the others are not standing apart so much but perhaps there's nuances of interest in them too. A little bit more time is needed.

#6 has a standout quality in the aroma department, with the creamy, fresh and round apple thing, albeit during the first sessions it didn't prove herself just yet as anything superior. With yield and structure being limiting factors on top of that, contrasting with some of her sibs that are showing more worth.

I'll let you know soon and post a few bud pics, and more info under PCK main thread.

Cozy warm and gentle vibes with PCK, of course it's a wonderful summer plan dubi!

See you soon, I hope! Enjoy yours too.
