PC micro growbox with in-line fan

Hey Guys,

I am planning on building a PC grow box with a small 4" in-line fan and a small carbonfilter. I have the design almost done and found a nice pc case that I can build this in with some plywood. The 4" fan will be speed controlled and so will the pc intake fans. I will also install 2 x passively cooled LED lights that are 45W each.

the case is a server tower that is 25" tall, 24" deep and 10" wide. The grow area will have space for two 1 gallon pots.

What do you think of the design, do you see any problems that I might have with this?

Case: Nanoxia 6 rev
Inline fan: TD-160/100 N SILENT
Filter: Bull Filter 4" only 6" deep and 7" wide.
LED: SANlight M30

Hey Guys,

So I decided to go with a small micro grow tent instead. I picked the Mammoth Classic 40. Its 40 x 40 x 80 cm. It fits under my table and out of sight . The Nanoxia case is a nice case but way too much to do to get it air tight and stuff, now I have more vertical space also. The comment about "noisy as fuck", have you heard of speed controllers the TD-160 at 50% is so quiet I barely hear it standing next to it. I'll post picks of the setup when its done, and then I will start a grow journal. I am planning on growing one WW auto in 3 gallon smart pot, should be interesting

This is the setup I ended up making. The intake is a 80mm fan with dust filter and I also added a 92mm fan to move the air around the space, I might add a second above the lights.
The plants will have about 65 cm of vertical space to grow, so I will add a trellis net for scrog. The temps are at around 77 - 79 atm, and the noise lvl is extremely low thanks to speed controllers

Yes I know the fan and filter could be on the outside, but I wanted it to be stealthy and compact.
