PC grow box build questions

Hey there

I have been searching the web for different ways to construct a stealthy pc grow box. I was just wondering if these lights would work well in the small space and maximise growing potential

Also I was wondering what would be the best option for a carbon filter that can eliminate all smell and sit inside the pc case

I would choose the first bulbs you linked up.

6500K is a good spectrum and just used it for vegging.

Those 23w CFLs are great little bulbs for small grows and stuff they really pack a punch when you start ganging them up. I wouldn't bother with 12w cfl unless that's all you have, 40+w are still very compact but they start getting pricey. I got a few 9w and 10w LEDs so cheap I tried them and those are bright as hell with the lenses ripped off. Led is much cooler and intense and also highly directional but I like using both for variance. Have you found the micro sub section? Those guys are doing some shit

That micro scrubber link looks really good and easy to put together, im definitely going to give it a go

I have looked at a few of the micro grow posts and there are a lot of complex and nice looking builds, am definitely aspiring to get there one day and also do you guys think I should go with the first bulbs linked or are there better options that aren't too pricey?

Sure, you gotta start somewhere but I actually just picked up a box almost identical to the 23w bulbs you linked. Except I found a 4 pack for 5.99 so I grabbed them. There are better options sure If you post where the guys who do it, they will help you. Like I said those little bulbs are pretty good especially for mini grows.

No point in using CFLs. E27 LED spots absolutely kill small wattage CFLs in micro grows.
