Do yall normally put it in your names? and how do you prefer to pay...deposit into bank account and pay with check or take cash directly to the PGE payment center.

I only plan to run maybe 4-5k tops so the bill will be around 1000 a month i think. how do i go about paying that?

thanks.

I use an assumed name, something really common. I pay in cash and throw the counter girl 20 bones for her trouble (with a wink and a nod).

^you can use a fake name on the PGE account...how do you do that? right now the bills in my name...but im the "landlord" of the house. could i say im renting out to someone else and put their name on the bill..have the bill sent to my house so that i can have someone run over to the PGE center to pay in cash?

You could say anything you want, but when the powers that be start investigating you nothing you say matters.

If you rent a house im sure you would have the bill under your name,
but with 1k in elec a month, i dont think you have to worry about fake names and other stuff,,, just go to any cash/loan check place, or any market that offer service payment and pay in cash.... if its 2k or 3k a deposit would be better,,

cheers,
red.

I pay at a payment center, in cash.. It is in a downtown market... never had a second look for a 1500$ monthly bill ...seems to do the trick , makes me feel better then just walking into pg&e to do it .

It doesn't matter whose name is on the account. What matters is that you pay in full, on time each month check, cash, what ever. The electric company is in the business of selling electricity as long as your paid up in full each month, I doubt you'll ever hear from them,I don't.

The more names on your bill the higher your base amount,17@watt/[email protected] on time.If your behind they may insist on a deposit. They have discounts for senior and lower income,I called them and they approved me instantly.

do they require SS #...i was hoping i could just put the bill under some random name like Charles Chan...say im the landlord/owner of the house and hes the new tenant. will that work.

also when you pay at the station in cash, do you gotta show ID?

they do, but you can fake any number with any name. don't have to say shit to them.

only time you have to show id id when you change something to the service or your power gets shut off and needs to be turned back on......
