The news is in, legendary rock writer Paul Williams has passed away at the age of 64. He was just a teenager when he started the legendary publication 'Crawdaddy.'

Famous for many things, he was also the literary agent for the Sci-Fi author Phillip K. Dick (visionary writer of Blade Runner amongst other sci-fi classics).

Paul Williams also wrote the forward to our very own Skip Stone's 1999 authoritative work 'Hippies From A to Z - Their Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll.'

In addition to that he was also Dr. Timothy Leary's campaign manager when he was running for governor of California; and was an audience participant singing 'Give Peace A Chance' along with John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed, in the Amsterdam Hilton, during the taping of that film.

He will be greatly missed...
