Patience - How do you find it?

You know when your going through rough times it almost seems like you are the only one .. yeah right! haha.. But anyways what I have been doing lately is when I get frustrated or feel like I just want time to move past if im not there, I think about how this may be my only life and how I am lucky to be here every moment , even the bad ones.

How do you find patience when you seem to be out of it?

Yea im going to have to agree with the above answers.Smoking weed gives me the patience and mental freeness to do what i need to every day.If i didnt smoke herb I would think alot about stuff that brings me down and that itself just makes me want to smoke and relax.I always try to think positively too even when people are trying to bring me down or have brought me down..Good luck finding your patience.

I dont like depending on something other then myself to find patience or deal with situations. I used to think that running to hit a bowl would cure my internal feelings but it doesnt, it only masks them and in some ways I feel herb can weaken a person. I do like herb for alot of things but its nice to find that place without it.

When I have a rough time, or day whatever. I hit the gym, I feel the best for like 2-3 days after that, nothing can shatter that feeling. So I go every night, and hit the weights. No stress, no problems, nothing, and no one can get to me.

Yeah man no doubt! I have been doing my own gym time at home. Its funny because every time i get back into working out I always tell myself i will never stop because it feels so good.

I stopped going to the gym when i moved and I miss it a lot. So much so that I am looking to invest about 2000 or so into buying an elliptical machine (which is what I was using at the gym). I run outside, but winter is coming and 20F is not conducive to NOT having my hands fall off.

I stopped going to the gym and now i dont need one for the most part.

One would be amazed at how much strength one can gain from little equiptment inside.

The only thing im missing is a pull up bar and its killing me! haha. Now i just stick to

I used to lift heavy and alot, i have chronic pain in my left wrist, surgery is looking like the only option, but in the meantime, I feel probably more strong now then I have when i was lifting alot.

I love being able to put on MY music where I work out and staying focused is easy!

I go outside with my dog, and feel the wind in my spirit, and air bathe in the prairie sky. Then, when I am centered and grounded in the earth, I smoke weed, hehehe!

Go to the gym, my brother, that indeed is the best medicine. I find smoking the ganja to be a process of feeding that inner animal that just wants more more more...and can't be satisfied. But going to the gym seems to "put him down" for a while and the after effects are a kind of peace that you can't really find with weed. Hard to explain really. Plus, smoking the kind all the time seems to make me a fat, lazy bastard.

How do I find my patience? I don't. It's been gone for a while. I put up missing posters and filed a report, but no luck. Honestly, I feel like it musta disappeared to the same place that 1/2 of my socks go to.

The real 50 dollar question is, "Are my dignity and self respect going to be found in the same place?" Like a foolish father with a load of luggage poorly strapped to the roof of the family wagon, I find myself scratching my head- wondering, "Jeez, I wonder how many miles ago I lost them??? How far could I possibly have driven without noticing I had lost them?!?"

The big difference? Dad at least gave it the good ole college try, and attempted to lash that shit down. I am not convinced I even remembered to pack dignity, patience, or self-respect. In fact, I'm not even sure my parents remembered to give me any of that shit! I think it's because we were poor, and couldn't afford those kinds of luxuries.
