in my ridiculous country they passed a law that enables the police the test your saliva for drugs(all drugs)


The only problem is that the test doesnt show wether you are under influence, it just shows you used drugs


the thing with weed is that it stays in the saliva 12-48 hours


There are people that say washing the mouth with listerine would help get a negative effect

Does anyone else have experience with this , i would hate gettign into trouble cuz i smoked the day before

If they're testing your saliva for THC, they're using a test that has a LOT of problems. Tests for THC use using saliva are pretty inaccurate, so much so that you could probably have any results from said test thrown out (but if you're in a place that allows random oral swabs it probably means they can follow that up with a blood or hair test).

I've seen quoted values for "accurate" detection of THC for saliva tests that are as low as 2 hours. Most likely if you haven't smoked that day you'll be fine. With that bad a detection rate rinsing your mouth with something that'll dissolve/physically remove any traces IS likely to cause a negative test. But if you using the alcohol formula of listerine you may then fail your breathalyzer. . .

There was a case in the UK in which the person tested positive 2 weeks afterwards.. Pretty inaccurate if u ask me..
