So since this girl is getting out of jail and claiming she wants to dedicate her life to philanthropic living and help others who need it and be concious of the world around her blabla....well....I'm sure she smokes herb, I've got a photo of her hitting a joint...but thats besides the point.....I just got to thinking.......since people will listen to anything she has to say...maybe have someone over in cali contact her to make some pro-pot appearances.....I'm pretty sure she is the biggest celebrity in our country (for doing nothing)...and I know most everyone between the ages of 10-25 who rely on pop-culture for there cues on how to act and what to say and wear would open there ears to anything she has to say....this is more or less half a joke...but part of me thinks it wouldn't be the worst idea.. ...discuss...

Besides, there no reason to think that the young pro-pot people of today won't become the hypociritical ex-hippie sellouts of tomorrow--trading their values in for a Bimmer, elite private schools and support for the drug war in our schools. Come to LA and you can meet thousands of these people.

now, don't get me wrong, I've never ever appreciated or been attracted to her, gimme gimme, me me, spoiled hollywood act....just saying....shes gonna be running amuck doing different things to redeem herself in the eyes of the public...I really don't see how she could actually hurt the marijuana movement.....think about how many people adore her...they do anything she says...buy anything she endorses....just sayin..

I might personally respect her more. But that wouldn't take much as she has never shown herself to be anything but a self-indulgent dumbsh*t. She has created a brand for herself that would take years to change, even if she were able to hit all of her marks in said transormation.

PH fits the mainstream cultural perception of stoner perfectly. She is known by all but respected by very few. She could only be useful to the movement after transforming that image--which ain't happening in a best-case scenario for many years.

We need people who are widely respected for accomplichments and/or their intellect to come out and speak positively about MJ, IMHO

Yup. that's what I'm saying. What you are describing has nothing to do with MMJ. Just what illness would she be applying under? Sounds more like you are talking about general pot smokers and not MMJ.
