Paranoia Moment!!

So I had to share this with someone and considering noone else knows i grow, they would not see the humor in it all.....

So it starts last Monday, trash day, and I wheel my trash can out to the curb as usual. No incriminating shit in there, just trash! So i didnt notice it for a day or two but about last Wednesday i finally realize my trash can is gone. AND it is not a small can, it is a trash company leased big ass trash can!!!

So the first thing that pops in my head was "Oh shit, Cops did a trash pull and took the entire fucking can!!" I dont know why i thought that but i did!! Stoner paranoia combined with grower paranoia = not a good thing. I am a micro grower but dont live in a mmj friendly state at all. I have been freaking out over it for few days wondering if i needed to chop my grow, delete my account, wipe my comp, etc....

So this past Monday my wife is getting ready to leave our house and notices our next door neighbor wheeling out a big can that looks suspiciously like ours!! So she called the trash company and wrote down the serial number for our can and......THOSE FUCKERS STOLE MY TRASH CAN!!!!!!!

I have been trying to think of ways to fuck with them now that I know they took it. BUT i dont want to start a turf war considering.......

Any good ideas would be welcome!

the only thing to be careful of is if he did it accidentally. Also like you said, you don't wanna start beef with anyone as a grower, especially a neighbor.

While I love the above idea, realistically you should just knock on his door and politely say that he has your trash can

been there done that. i just took mine back. then a week or so before the neighbors moved out i took their trashcan too. now i have 2. fuck em. the new residents will have to get a new can when they move in

I hated my neighbors for over a year thinking the fucks were taking my trash can from the front of my house, and not returning it after the truck dumped it. It happened enough to be annoying.. What kinda scum takes a garbage can from the front of someones house, and doesn't return it.. Not just any garbage can, but a can I had to pay the township $160 for when I first moved in cause the asshole who lived here before me stole the can. Supermanlives you suck LOL!! I was pissed...

One morning I woke up a little earlier then usual on garbage day, and decided to watch and see if I could catch the pricks taking the can.. I watched and as the truck picked my can off the curb it got jammed up on the robo arm. They ended up carrying the can on the top of the truck down to the neighbors house, and when they went to pick his can up my can fell off the truck...

The first time I saw it missing, I too thought the cops pulled that shit.. All that parnoia, anger, and resentment for nothing... I decided to smoke a bone and laugh at how much energy I wasted hating on the neighbors.

Why would the cops do a trash "pull" though? You should have come here first instead of dilly dallying and we would have told you you have nothing to worry about. As revenge the burning bag of dog(or human if you are a sick fuck) shit on the front step never fails, watch from a distance, etc.

I love the ideas here guys!! When i first noticed it missing, I went into panic mode! I was looking out my window for cars sitting on the block and shit like that. Then I thought about it and it didnt make sense to be the cops. Why would they take the whole can? Why would they "tip off" someone by doing something so stupid. BUT i wasnt positive they werent that dumb!!!

I have been trying to think of creative ways to call them out on it and kinda humiliate them but not be mean about it. In any other instance, everyone that knows me personally knows that I would never miss an opportunity to fuck with someone in a case like this. BUT being that I have to live next to these people for the next year at least and not wanting them to have any indication to think anything illegal is going on in the house, I am not sure it is a good idea to really be a dick about it all.

they make you pay for additional cans in san diego . after the first one is delivered it has a number to get another cost cash . they dont care. i took mine back and spraypainted my number on it

Maybe what happened if what happened to me. We have some people on the same street who always leave their can out until at least 3-4 days after pick up. We live closer to where the cans have to be placed for common pick up than they do, and the numbers on their can are in bad repair so it kind of looks like our number. Well someone in the neighborhood took THEIR can and placed it in OUR yard and I didn't even realize it until a couple of days later. Perhaps your can got accidently placed in their yard. I've also noticed everyone placing trash in their can when they leave it by the street and have considered putting a note on their door and saying, "Hey, you can do what you want, but when you leave your can out, everyone just goes out and fills it up or sticks it in my yard to get it off the street," but I don't want to draw any attention to myself. I have to admit that I enjoy putting large bags of cat poop in their can when I can. We have four cats, so the bags are very large.
