Paradise Seeds Belladonna

Just looking for some feedback on this strain as there is not much. I just popped 10, and will plant them tommorrow. Octavian gave some advice, but I need some more if possible. If anyone has grown it - how does it handle nutes? I will be growing them all organcially with fox farm products. I have high hopes for this strain. Hopefully the Super Skunk will really shine through on a couple females. Please post pics, experinces, whatever. Thanks in advance.

its been a while but I remember that its some real extreme up your heart rate and make you sweat herb a very unique high compared to most dutch skunk based genetics. Pretty orange hairs like superskunk.

She responds well to topping by growing incredibly bushy. So far I've only smoked a hermy that I pulled very early so it was unsprisingly heady and racy. Have not had any nute problems other than one plant which seemed sensitive to pH. Germed 10 sprouted 10, 10 females, 5 eventually hermed, was not too happy about that fact. I will update with a smoke report in a few days with some more mature bud

:joint:

-edit-
My only stress was they got slightly rootbound, no light leaks or anything else so Id say avoid any stress to the roots

Thanks alot for chiming in guys.
Zamalito - sweaty forehead herb is what I'm after brother, thanks for sharing your experience.
Tirs - thanks for mentioning she likes to be topped, sorry bout the herms, Octavia mentioned that as well. I guess I will try to keep things as unstressful as possible.
thorodee - let us know how she/they turn out. I as well bought them b/c of Paradise's reputation and the description of the high, and I wanted some super stinky herbs(who doesn't?).

Sounds like they came out ok for you fjallhoga, that's good to know. I respect you very much as a grower, and your opinion is much appreciated. They are going under the fluoros after I get some pots today. Paradise sure does have great affordable genetics dont you all agree?

Yeah, Belladonna was my first grow for that reason. I made basically every mistake in the book (this was before I found overgrow, RIP), and only ended up with one decent female, but the small amount of bud I got from her was really first-rate, awesome taste and a really great up high, perfect for listening to music also. Their package claimed the stuff can be slighly hallucinogenic; I'm not sure it was that, exactly, but it made lights look brighter and pulse a bit, if I remember correctly, and was just kind of "trippy," but in a good way. Anyways, it was definitely a distinct high, I think you'll enjoy it very much.

Socrates - glad you enjoyed Belladonna, sounds like it has a nice edge to the high, possibly like a Haze.

I'm sure fjällhöga has his grow under better control than I do. I have never said that my environment is perfect, the fact is I run it imperfectly so that my keepers are as reliable for ME in the long run as humanly possible. If there are hermaphroditic tendencies in a strain, I can run it in my room, and cull out the shemales real quick!

Works for me :)

I've got 4 beautiful Bellas running right now. One in particular looks very nice. It's a little stockier than her sisters, and must be the superskunk leaning pheno, as it's a bit chunkier in the buds, as well.

Would you mind sharing a pic if you have a camera. I would like to see the Super Skunk pheno you have.

Paradise reccommends organic methods and (i believe) breeds (bred) them organically, so I'm guessing not too heavy on the nutes? Have heard alot of thier seeds are also Haze based crosses. Pretty pics evry1.

Looks like I don't have to...Cloudz already beat me to it, methinks. :bat:
Mine looks alot like this one, with the chunky buds, and the short petioles. The other 3 that I have are a little taller, the internodes are a little longer, and the buds are spaced apart slightly further...the leaf stems stick out noticeably more as well. Mine are not that far along of course...Cloudz' look like they were pretty much done. I've got about a month left for mine to get to that point.

aeric, my Bellas are medium feeders...heavier than my Mental Floss, and about the same as my Sk#1's.

I think Belladonna has a higher fan base in Europe than here in the states.

belladonna has to be one of my favorite smells...sometimes you find a real skunk in the bunch....reminds me of cotton candy with skunk undertones....I can still smell it...stay safe

Sounds like a nice mix Cotton candy and skunk mmm. I had a Nirvana White Rhino that had a sweet cotton candy smell once. Hurricane you have some very pretty dogs from the pet contest. My dog Rocco looks just like the one under your name. Great loyal dogs no matter what people say about them.
