I think this was part of 303. anyone know where this might be available again?

303 is gone with SpBro and I always wanted to try this variety.

Some people I respect told me it was serious weed.

I wonder how similar it is to the 303. The 303 is on its way to being my all time fav. Its some seriously wonderful herb and for 17 bucks a pack it was fantastic. Golddustwomen I think is working with it. Hopefully he'll make some more.

More on 303?

More on 303?

I'd be curious to hear more from anyone that's grown 303 succesfully (hey, indoors, even)

Specifically, did you find it took FOREVER to show sex? I've had a mature clone in 12/12 for almost 2 months!!!! now, and still no sign. FET of spice bros confirmed this tardiness in showing sex, but I do think that 2 mths is overdoing it a bit! :)

I've still got a pack of seeds (I only planted one), but I can see I'll have to revise some plans at this rate....

Yeah it was really slow to show sex. I didn't have the problems fet reported about misidentifying females as male or the long germination time (9/10 of mine cracked in 24-36 hrs). I'm sure by now you've noticed the beautifully long narrow leaves and the unique nodal structure. I didn't have any herm problems with females but my one male reversed sex. That's's why I want more. Here's some pics I took of 303 in early flowering. Sorry I don't have any mature shots. Mature its smell reminds me slightly of zamal except more fruity less earthy. Its got a wonderful energetic nonparanoid buzz. That's definitely long lasting and will cause you to crash but not to the degre that fet says. All around a great strain.

Hey guys, I won the pack that was for charity auction, I mean the PNG, next year I'll be making some open pollination with whatever I get out of those ten seeds if all goes right: So if anyone is interested in it, let me know.

I have a great interest in the PNG strains.

Am looking to get there some time next year. New Ireland, Britan, Bouganville, The Solomons, New Hanover, The Sepik river, Western Highlands, The Bensbach and Fly rivers let alone west Papua. So many areas with different climates and elevations.
Papua is the future of sativas.

I remember before Shantibaba was locked up at the end of last year he was talking about going there on the old CW, any one know if he made it.

What's the history of cannabis in PNG? I was there in the late '80's when I was 19 and scored some really immature buds - in fact a whole plant just yanked out of the ground and given to us. It was of course average. But at a small hotel near Madang, some local traditional musicians gave us a joint which was killer weed. I still have photos of a group of us goofing off after sharing that herb. Those were the days, LOL.

But I'm curious how cannabis found it's way to PNG and when?

I have some seeds of Papuasia New Guinea gold, that were sent by a cool brother at OG.

As it's supposed to be hermie prone, I'm still trying to find good conditions to reproduce it.

I was also told it was a strong and exceptionnal weed but didn't had the chance to sample it, as I've only 14 seeds of it, I want to keep them for reproduction purpose.

Has somebody experience with it, growing advices, mistakes to avoid? 20'Thaï told that warm conditions were inducing hermies and so it would be better to grow it indoor during winter but that's all.

Good vibes to all :)

Hey zamalito,

I just tried some unripe (4 week) lower bud from a poorly 303 plant that I was cleaning up. I can tell you it blew my mind, just never had anything so UP before. Not even the best Balkan Sativas, SA Durban or Manali / Nepali. (Never really tried Thais or Viets) Man I'm thinking of converting everything just to grow this stuff.... :joint:

So, I've got to ask, which are your other favourite sativas that could contend with 303? They must really be something...

Good luck with your Brazilian ventures, BTW, I've been following, though not posting. Haven't had much in the way of Brazilian genetics, but what I have has left me intrigued every time. Brazil sounds like a wonderful exotic place, though I can't say I "get" their music. Now, their dancing - that's another story.... :jump:

Dunno much about the history of Papuan weed, but the latest official reports (assuming they know their arse from their elbow - a big assumption) claim that canna consumtion in PNG is at about 30% of the population!
Hm, I think I know my next travel destination...
