Papaya Purple pheno from Nirvana

Here is a papaya from Nirvana I got a purple pheno (only one in the bunch) I paid 15 dollars us for these seeds got 10 seeds free and I got 7 females. 70% female I also got about 1.2 lbs of 7 plants all quality smoke although all of the plants varied somewhat. Not bad for $15 bucks huh? Here is the purple pheno papaya at day 47.

Keep trying I only got one out of the 7 females so I thinking the ratio of the purple color and fruiter and more mango smell is rare. Not really any of the females I got were the same but were all classy plants in there own way.

im flowering a bunch of papaya clones together with some other ones. this far they are looking good

but i sure would have liked to have a purple pheno also :d lets see how it goes in the end of floweing.

Yeah bone you might get a purple pheno. I kept my temps low 60-75 (60 lights out 75 lights on) so the purple started to show around the 3rd week of flowering. I don't think the purple will come out until half way through flowering, but you will know when you got it. I'm just pissed I didn't keep a mother of this baby.

u can allways try to reveg them ? its worth a try

i got a few of the papaya that are noticeably darker that the others - gonna keep an eye on them to see what happens later on in flowering

im going to try to reveg also at the end of my harvest - just leave some lower branches with buds and all intakt, give a dose of N rich nutes + a lot of hours of light and it should soon start veging again.

a friend of mine revegged an isis from DP, and got about 250 Grams from the second harvest. but id rather just get them to start vegging, then clone them and throw the old plants. or not. lets see lol hehe

i prefeer smaler root space so i can use max moms in my veg-locker.

how long did you veg. to get up there with that good ole' 1.2lbs.?....also what was that watts of light you used?...i also have 4 papaya from gypsy and out of the ten seeds i could only get 4 of these babies to sprout...out of the 4...3 are similar in smell...but the 4th has the most peppery scent to it that i have ever smelled!...with purpleish stem on it....

Germed 1/2 a pack and got 4 males, one trifoliate. The one female is purple! Showed 2nd week in. Amazing smell. The great thing is that it's purple on the calyxes where it matters rather than the leaves. This one is super sensitive to pH and overfert, watch out.
