Panda Film or B&W Poly??

Why can I buy 5-6mm B&W poly-film from the depot for like 30 bucks and then go to my hydroshop and pay 90 bucks for 5.5mm panda film?

I'm trying to seal my room off with it and can't swing poly-shield. Not to mention, I need it as a reflective material. White poly is just as reflective as panda film, right?

Panda film looks to me like high price B&W poly. What size(mm) do you guys suggest for regulating temps in my attic. I will have AC in the sealed room, I just have one wall that I can't get plywood on.

Thanks.

where at the depot did you find white film? I saw black and clear in the paint dept but not white.

As far as temps go, i dont think the film is going to make a difference.

Well, the I need to keep heat out and it's not possible to put up sheetrock or plywood. I have to use some sort of flexible wall, hence the reason I chose film.

I'm sitting here thinking about it, and damnit... I didn't see white at the depot. I only saw black and clear. Good look yamaha. I'll go with the dro store panda film I guess.

Thanks

Get the real deal Panda film... not the Sunleaves knock off which allows light penetration on the black side of the wall.

This is the stuff I just got a few months ago :http://mdhydro.com/mylar.html

Even with the shipping costs it still came out cheaper than the $90+ that my hydro store wanted. It works great and there is probably more than you will need, hell I think I could probably set up another two rooms with what I have left :D

Best of luck
