End week 8 and 7 for Panama

End week 8 and 7 for Panama

Hi guys I am posting a few pics of the Panama which is week 7 flower as its a week behind the others plus a few pics of the Panama x Malawi which has me salivating every time I see her.
Also the top of the Gt that I cut of in veg and planted as a clone under 11/13 light and it took off and now has 2 big buds. It has 2 because it grew so tall I topped it and its now 2 buds on a stick I am glad I didn't waste it.

If you look carefully you can see the white fly I am battling to eradicate, I dont want to spray the buds so its hard.

Hi Buddler I only have limited space so taking and keeping clones is a problem I would do it if I could its quicker, but its summer in Oz so its easy to put the plant outside after harvest to reveg, as the grow room usually still has longer flowering plants in it.
Once the new growth starts I put them back under the lights to induce flowering. I find the reveg gives me more buds if done right. The buds seem stronger as the plant has good root system. Its all I can manage with my set up.
Thanks for your comments.

Gday Tangwena.. I have a few Tropical mix fem a month old and now in the ground. Dubi informed me the lastest reproduction is alot of Panama x Malawi and Malawi x Panama crosses. One vigorous fast grower has a strong oil pungent aroma that fills up its soundings . I've read your posts , and and got some good info which helped me out with strain selection and such. cheers
Mullup.

flboy I would say you have it figured out pretty good mate, going on the size and good looks there is not much you need to learn ha ha.
Maybe to tie them down next time but nothing else. I would give my left nut to have trees like yours going in Aussie. Mine kept getting stolen or eaten so I gave it away, so much hard work just to loose it at the end.

I haven't even got to try my Panama and Panama x malawi but just on the smell, look and genetics they have to be special. I can feel it in my bones they will be special highs, every high of every pheno of every strain is so special each one has a unique appeal. I cant get enough of them. Please post pics so we can all enjoy they will be special plants.

Great job Tangwena

I love the way you grow your plants, always well developed, healthy and resinous.
Looks like the party will be over soon, can't wait to hear your opinion about the new Panama x Malawi hybrid, and about the comparison between the GT '13 and the new GT '15.

Best vibes! :)

My friend I have nothing but respect for your work, I am sure they will be amazing, I just wish I had more space and time to grow more.
The Panama X Malawi has a lot of admirers already in Aussie and I am sure will be a winner, especialy after I sweat cure her.
Its going to be an exciting new year.
The 2013 GT is so lemony I have never smelled anything like her, the 2015 is more subdued but the smell is what I would call typical Malawi and I have high hopes for an old school Malawi high.

Here are some bud shots of the Panama x Malawi, Golden Tiger 2013,
Double headed GT clone from the topping of the 2013 GT, and a group shot of the left side of the cabinet with PxM in front.
The Px M looks like it will be the first to finish, followed by the GT 2015, then the Panama and lastly the Gt 2013, which just keeps flowering. I may need to flush all the residual nutes out of the coco to get her to start finishing.
Even though she is on basicaly water there must be enough to sustain her.

Hi my friend the CMH is IMO the better light, but I am biased, the plants are on 10.5 hrs light.
I have been having a problem with the white fly, I have managed to kill all the mature ones by putting 2 mosquito coils in the box and turning the circulating fan on.
But the eggs will hatch soon and I will have to do it again, but the damage is minor, so the leaves look a bit spotty but the buds are ok.
The plants are on ph'd water and seasol, a seaweed extract no nutes, so the leaves are finally starting to yellow
The seasol seems to make the terpenes show their best aromas, the plants are smelling fantastic. They should be ready for Xmas harvest or maybe new year for the GT 2013.
The Panama x Malawi up close has very fine resin heads like the Panama, the GT has bid resin heads like the Malawi.
The GT 2013 is a star it has the strongest oily Malawi smell with a deep strong lemon, awesome I dont want to loose this plant until I test the high.
The Panama x Malawi has a more sweeter lemon and oil smell with the floral, musky Panama smell.
The Panama is a lady subtle musky, flowery smell very interesting.
The 2015 GT smells 100% African Malawi smell I cant wait to try her, woody, slightly fruity, I am sure she will be a real killer.
I will post some pics after this post. The cobs will I predict be the best i have ever made and give anyone trying them a peak into there mind, to quote the cruel sea, "my mind is like a room full of people, all trying to get out at the same time" Ha Ha typing is getting very random curtesy of the wonderful GT.

I will be taking the Panama and GT2012 and 2015 this week, also the Panama x Malawi although the leaves haven't yellowed much she has stopped growing.
All have been on water and seaweed juice for the last 2 weeks and smell amazing.
I will post pics of the buds once they have dried prior to curing.
The yield on the plants has impressed me especialy the GT and PxM
Both have huge dense buds, even the Panama although it looks smaller has very heavy dense buds. It should be week 11 my bad
Here are some pics

From the left Panama, GT2013 and Panama x Malawi
