Recently harvested 2 plants of Panama Red CBD by Bob Hemphill. They were sold originally by Coastal Seeds and more recently by Equilibrium Genetics. Plants were harvested at 77 and 79 days from the time they first showed sex. Plants are tall with narrow leaves. The first phenotype produced very wispy red haired buds with very high calyx to leaf ratio. Pheno 2 produced thicker but leafier red haired buds with a fairly high calyx to leaf ratio. Both phenos were very easy to trim. The high of pheno one was an interesting combination of motivating yet calming (probably due to the CBD content). It seems to relax the body, while at the same time keeping the mind going. The relaxation part wasn't dopey or sleepy like indicas just really calming. It seems like the perfect high for doing yoga or going for a hike. It lasted a good 3 hours (3 hits on a Pax)and just seemed to fade away when done. Pheno 2 was also calming but not nearly as much as pheno one. The high was much less body and very clear headed. I would say it was more energetic, but not spazztic like some sativas can be. I wasn't sure what to expect of a sativa with high CBD, but to my relief, it didn't produce a doping, dumbing indica type stone. I have one more Panama still flowering. It has much tighter internodes than the others (as tight as some indicas I've seen) but would only flower after 2 weeks under 11.5 hours of light (4 weeks after 12/12). From the looks of it, she'll need 3 to 4 weeks more before harvest. Have photos, but unfortunately can't get them to load.
