well im using family dollar soil,lol it could be the problem but ive grown other plants in the same stuff.i have them in a rubbermaid veg chamber and im using 60 watt t12 or t8 tube flourecent i spraypainted the inside but that wasnt enough to stop lightleaks so i put some white primer in there,thats it. but my plants just dont seem to be growing at all.i know i seem like such a newB but i like doin the outdoor thing,

oh you painted the inside, i would of only panted the outside but did you use non toxic paint http://www.eartheasy.com/live_nontoxic_paints.htm
i would transplant right away into something not painted if you need to block more light try ducktape or black poly or a few coats of paint only to the outside

well i was thinkin that the inside would need more reflectivity so i painted it white. and i made this thing about two seasons ago but i had no problems,but i cant remember what i used . im just gonna take them out and try it with out the tub and see if things changes
