Vin, I forgot to say that I do cut the lower branches. It depends on how long I veg for. I trim all the very bottom and very small branches right before flowering, then again about two weeks into flowering, right before the buds start to form. I take off anything that I don't think will get direct light, though I never trim enough. It's kind of scary cutting off branches on such a small plant, but it's amazing how it fills out in the end.

For my next grow, I plan on only doing 9-12 plants, and vegging and topping them more, then using my trellis netting earlier to fill the canopy better. It looks good in the pics, but I could have done better. I also plan on doing mostly Bubba next run, with one each of my SD x OG from JLP, and my Querkle. I don't know if these are male or female yet, and just want to select my mothers. I've got way too many strains now, and don't know when I'll get around to trying many of them, and they are pretty good strains.

Hey Bake, what's up bro? So glad your back on track. This Bubba is the first strain I've had in a long time that I am this happy about. BTW, the SSSDH you have or had was from JDOG, is that correct? I was talking to him and he just got his back and says it is very good. I got it as well, from someone else, and was told it came from JDOG I believe. Just wondering.

OK guys, I'm getting ready for my next run and want to know what everyone's opinion is on what I should go with. I am going to do Bubba in about 3/4 of the space. I will do either 9 or 12 total. That leaves me either 3 or 4 slots for other strains. I want to go with something I havn't run yet. My choices are...

hey all.. bad news.. always wanted to start up a little grow of my own and have sent away for seeds twice. never got either pack, my luck..

I really would like to show my friends what good herb can do but I can't get a hold of any seeds and now don't have any more money to pay for them. I feel sort of embarrassed asking, but if anyone has some spares sittin around and could help me out please let me know

My best advice Reality...Save up some more money, and ask around for a more reputable seed bank. No one here is gona be williing to send you anything untill you prove yourself. No offence.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I decided to go with all Bubba this next run, because I can't get enough of the taste and high. After that, I'm gonna run a bunch of different strains, to see what I will keep for moms.

Zombo, it's your fault I can't make up my mind, too many decisions,lol. If I had room for another table I would get one, but if I don't watch myself, I'll end up cash cropping again, and I don't want to go there. I get carried away sometimes

Reality, Vin has good advice. Many of us started with bagseed, others saved up and ordered. If I was only gonna advise you on one place to order from, it would be seedbay. They have anything from $20 strains on up, and I've never lost a package from them yet. Good luck. Once people see you growing, and taking pics along the way, they will be more open to sending you things, but you also want to talk about that in PM's, not on the boards. Try to build relationships, and good things will come. Also, don't expect something for nothing, as most people will want to trade with you.

Just for the record, I'm most interested in SSSDH, Purps IBL, Jack the Ripper, Void, and Rhino Horn.
