seems i used too much pollen this time. i got more than enough seeds for everybody.

as a matter of fact, if timing is perfect, these beans could wind up being buds for xmas.
this is save me alot of money buying every1 xmas gifts. lol

Hey cocktail, is that good or bad for you? Does that mean plants you didn't want polinated got it, or just the plants that you wanted produced more seeds than you originally thought. Hope it didn't mess up your smoke. But I'll be glad to take em off your hands,lol. Happy sorting my friend.
well, its not a bad thing, i got plenty of smoke anyway. i guess i went too ape shit w/ pollen. it seems to have gotten places i didnt think it would. i know i def pollenated the straw d and the wonder d. but i got seeds out of other ladies too.
That's cause the Abusive Kushaze Male had fire in his loins lol

Well at least you'll have some beans to play around with. Who knows what you'll find. I'm glad to see you making crosses, pollen chucking or not, that's what I want to do as soon as I figure out a way to flower the males apart from my flower room. Don't have the equiptment right now, but I will soon enough.
It would be cool to get as many guys around here to make crosses as possible and spread em around to each other. Keep each other covered for a long time, if for nothing else, just to have fun looking for killer phenos.
I'm also thinking of getting a 4x8 hydrohut and using it as two grow areas. Hydro in 4x4 and soil and test grows from new seeds etc on the other 4x4. I always hate taking up space with new beans that won't be keepers, but I love popping beans. I'm starting to get overloaded with really great stuff to pop and I'm not one of those guys who keep anything around. If I get a pack of 10, I pop em all at once. I do want to start collecting some though for a rainy day. I just want to try everything.
I share my smoke with two other people, so I never seem to have quite enough. This will solve my problems and allow me to get much more done at the same time.
Now I just need the dough for the hut and another light and a bigger exhaust fan and a bigger charcoal filter and ....,lol. It will be fun when the time comes.

On another note, Mdanzig and S_&_H asked me to do a test grow for them. Blue Streak is the strain. Its made up of Master Low x DJ shorts BB. Hope fully we get 100% autoflowering out of them. I've grown boatloads of Master Low and it suits me just fine the way it is, and I just recently crossed a Sour Deiselx OGkush Male with a Master Low female. Should give me about 25% autoflowering beans, as the Master Low is 100% autoflowering and very stable. So, my Jacks Cleaners are still tryin to come back for me and I've got the Blue Streak soakin. After this I'll be poppin some Vortex and Pandoras Box all from TGA genetics.

Red,looking real nice.38 days,things should be extra nice in another couple of weeks.Keep on keepin on everyone.Just got a little pocket microscope from radioshack,60-100x,if you don't have one,you have to get one($12).It is amazing being able to see the trichs up close.Closer to harvest than I thought around here.Post some pics later.

Thanks guys. I'll be popping my TGA's soon as well Weld, Jack the Ripper, Void and SpaceJill. We have pretty much all of TGA's genes around here now between a few of us. Can't wait to see them all grown out.

Vin I will get you a shot of the Sadhu as soon as I borrow a camera again. I took a few shots of it because I knew you would want to see it, but only one came out. For some reason the flash must not have worked on the others because they were very dark and you could barely see anything. It smells better than anything I have in my garden right now as far as a nice fruity sweet smell. Very nice.

I think I'm gonna stick with ebb and flow for awhile and get it dialed in really well. It's extremely easy to use and with the amount of time I'm working right now that's what I really needed. I put alot of time into my garden, but right now I wanted something as maintenance free as possible.
I'm not sure if I posted this on this thread or not but my future plans are as follows.
I'm going to get a 4x8 hydrohut and use 4x4 for the ebb and flow and the other 4x4 for soil and test grows. That way when I pop new beans, I can select phenos without taking up space for my headstash grow. I currently use a 600hps for flowering, and would add either another 6 or a 1000hps. Right now I don't vent my hood, but I would do this for sure no matter what size I use. For you guys that do vent you hood or hoods, what size fan should I use. I will probably get Fantech or Vortex. Keep in mind it will be 2 hoods and a very long piece of ducting, about 30 feet, which works fine now, but I don't remember what size fan I'm using now,lol.
I also want to make a rubbermaid JLP special so I can put a male and female together to make crosses without needing to set up another room, and also I won't have to worry about pollen contaminating my head grow. I will do this in the 4x4 side for test grows.
Cocktail I believe you said before you knew about the JLP thing, let me know what you think about this idea. I have never really made a setup just to make crosses, but I really want to do this asap.
This goes for everyone else as well, please let me know if I'm missing something with my idea.
I already have a room for my moms/seedlings/veg. I was going to get 2 hydrohuts, a 4x4(flower) and a 2x4(male flowering). This will cost me alot more money, which is why I am thinking about the single 4x8.

Red - on venting the hood, You're gonna want a fan that's rated well above what you think it will be to cool it. I use a 200+ CFM on a 400w and it keep it sane, not cool...
I would imagine if you're running 2 600s and 30+ feet of vent tubing i wouldn't go with anything less than a 600-700cfm, unless you're using it just to cool the bulbs and you have secondary climate control.
Hey everyone, i managed to get a couple shots for you of the so cals.
First up is the lower potency. This one doesn't have an intense smell. it smells slightly fruity, but more minty.
Smokes well, gets you high, but nothing special.
This is the higher potency. Very fruity smells. Mainly sativa high that settles you down. I can only describe this high as an intensified soberness. Everythign is funnier, lights are lighter, music is more musical.
It's kinda strange haha... i'm gonna give this one a nice 3 week cure before i give my final smoke report...
there's still a few more that need to come down. The very sativa one, another fruity and one that doesn't look to be anything spectacular.
And hopefully i get pics of what looks to be the keeper! whitest nug i have ever seen...

Thanks for the advice Sub. I have a 265 now that I'm using to exhaust my 600, and just like you said, it keeps it sane, but not cool. Mid to high 70's. I was thinking of using that fan just to exhaust the bulbs, and getting another to exhause the room itself. I've never used air cooled hoods, so I'm not sure what to expect as far as temps go, after venting the hoods. I will go overkill for sure, and probably get a fan speed controller, so I can lower the speed if it's too much.
So Cal's are looking good. Can't wait to see the keeper.
