my soil consists of Promix/Perlite/dolomite
isnt this soilless?
im asking cuz i just read on the "complete guide to sick plants a ph troubles" that "Phosphorus is absorbed best in Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 4.0- 5.8."

should i be adjusting my ph accordingly? i had been puttin it at 6.5.

Looks like litetoocloseitis.....

Pdef by the way is most likely to be seen as small plants.....leaves

nothing like this

u sure, looks just like the examples of pdef in the nutrient guide in this forum.

Ive done quite a bit of sick plants.....

Many defs can be shown to be accurate by not only looking at pics but matching the nutrients with the def...

I have never been able to do this with phos def....

Now why I think your light is too close???

Normally defs effect the leaves in a symetrical fashion....

your leaves show damage along some of the edges and not the other....

So.... if you havent fed any phos.... then you might have a point.....

WIth certain ferts I expect to see certain defs....

for example.... miracle grow.... calcium magnesium....

bogs mix.... potassium def....

By the way there are 2 pics in the guide....

one shows blackened tips... the other brown....

I doubt seriously the two plants have p def....

i didnt think it was light burn cuz only 1 or 2 plants were lookin like that outta 8. and its 30days in flowerin, so wouldnt it had shown lightburn before.. and this is 2 weeks after it finished stretching.

1 more thing, if it was a pdef, would the damaged leaves heal or remain how they are?

2 600whps 12'' from tops.

only 1 fan blowin on the plants.
nutes are pure blend pro
feed every other watering

Ph for promix should be 5.6 to 6.2 So, adjust your fert water to about 5.8 to 6 after everything has been added.

What pureblend pro are you using? For soil or hydro? How many ml per gallon are you using?

Better to come up with a fertilizer rate so you can feed with every watering.

Have you tried testing what ph your soil mix is at? After you have watered/ferted, wait 30 minutes. Then apply a small amount of distilled water to the pot surface. You only want 1 or 2 ounces of runoff out the bottom. Catch this and test the ph. If after water/ferting and waiting 30 min you can tilt the pot and get a runoff, you can use that instead. I gave you the ph range above.

check my gallery I had some leaves that looked like that.

I'm also using PBP with promix.

I'm pretty sure that's not light burn. My leaves looked the same and everyone thought it was light burn, but it was a deficiency of some kind. I'm not sure if it was P or K, or what but they cleared up with a good balanced feeding. Damaged leaves don't get better, but new damage stops.

How much lime did you use? Do you use cal-mag? How much do you feed when you do?

Can you check your runoff EC and PH?

runoff ph is 6.6
its the pbp for soil or soil less applications.
basically using half ounce/gal every feeding.
directions say a full ounce but i always like to take it easy with nutes.
there outta be plenty of lime in the soil. not sure how much, i kinda just eyed it. but i poured a generous amount when i made the soil.
thanks for the responses guys.
peace

He said he feeds every other watering at 15 ml/gal.

I'm 99% sure that's the same def I had when not feeding enough PBPB soil formula. Feed every watering at 15ml/gal and things should improve.

I've been going 28ml per gal...am I killing them? They seem to have a slight cal def, PH is fine, been adding epsom every feeding 1tsp per gal?

No way you need that much epsoms....

I dont think you would need that much if PBP had no magnesium...

I prefer to use dolomitic lime.....

it contains both calcium and magnesium...

Sorry I know of no deficiency that looks like this...

The tips are burned.... and look very much like a Nitrogen burn...

but I know of no deficiency that looks like that.....
