ozone generator question

hey was wondering if using a ozone generator is safe for plants? i have carbon filters but they dont get rid of all the smell and im venting out side of my house and i really dont want the neighborhood to smell the plants.. so was wondering if buy using a ozone generator will that help get rid of the smell and the most important is it safe for the plants?

I've never used one, but have researched them extensively. From what I understand, they will definitely harm your plants (and you) if they are exposed to the ozone in any quantity. If you are discharging outside, you can probably use one to great effect by installing it in the discharge duct - from what I understand, this is the ideal application of the generator.
