Oversized pots feeding/watering

Put my clones from solo cups to 5gallons. I fed by watering the whole pot as a whole and I’m not sure if that’s too much for the roots right now being so small?? Should I only water around the stem? Or the outer sides? Or any thoughts?? Plants weee VERY droopy day later kinda popped back up so I’m trying to not drown them even tho I know it’s very hard with coco?

Just water a small amount gently around the base of the plant- you still want wet/dry cycles until the roots are better established. I have certainly overwatered seedlings in coco.
Once the roots fill the pot you can start multiple fertigations

Thanks grimy. I’ll keep waterings around the plant over the whole pot as a whole.
