What's up all.

Since I am a member of this board, I thought that I should also make my contribution.

This is my second grow. If anyone has comments or critique, then please feel free to make your contribution. The only thing that can happen to me is: I can only learn from them.

Thanks for taking time to stop by.

Here is what I am working with:

Equipment:

Wardrobe (88 cm x 57cm x 150 cm) with black/white plastic. I cut two holes in the bottom back for intake and one on the top for the outtake.

250 Watt HPS
Cooltube
Carbon Filter (unknown Manufacturer)
Exhaust (PrimaKlima 220/360 m³)
Organic fertilizer – BioBizz Series
Square pots 10 cm x 10 cm x 11 cm
BioBizz Light-Mix Soil

Seeds: Haze19 x Skunk from Nirvana.

Plan: I hope to get two females. One mother plant is going to stay on my balcony so that I can take clones. Hopefully it won't smell so strong. The other female is going to be planted in a garden of a friend.

April 23: I planted five seeds directly in pots that I filled with BioBizz Light-Mix soil.

April 26: First two have sprouted.

46725Day_2_-_Kopie-med.JPG

After one week 4 of 5 have sprouted. For some odd reason, one is a mutant. I'm going to let it grow. Who knows, it might be female. And from my experiences, mutants also give a very good high.

The mutated plant:

At the beginning of the second week, I started to feed them BioGrow and Alg-A-Mic. There is not much going on during the growth phase, except that one can literally watch the plant get taller on a daily basis and the plants are starting to give a light scent. I hope it doesn't get much stronger.

Here are a couple of pictures. One is from the beginning of the week and the other is from a couple of days later:

In week 3 I cut the bigger two plants. I hope that the cuttings will survive so that I can determine the gender. I hope that I did it correctly. I placed them in my flowering cab.

46725Week_4_-_Kopie-med.JPG

After I took the cuttings I started to feed the plants with Alg-A-Mic, BioGrow, BioBloom and Top Max. They are being fed according to the scheme.

May 26: My cuttings are starting to show problems, since they're in the same cab as my last two flowering plants. It's probably the humidity in the cab that's giving them a hard time. The humidity is at 41%.

What I have observed since I cut the plants is that they're starting to grow really fast. I'm going to repot as soon as the roots don't have any more space to spread. They're going to be potted in square Pots (15x15x20 cm). These are the pots that they are going to stay in.

Here are a couple of pics from the plants:

May 28: I cut the last plant today so that I can determine the gender.

Here is how I took the cut (took the other ones in the same way):

Here you can see the mutated plant in the background.

The cutting:

A cut at about 45 degrees:

The cut was placed in water for a few minutes:

The bottom two leaves were cut off:

Leaf was trimmed:

I filled a pot with 3/4 light-mix soil. The top layer consists of peat (bought it in a pet shop).

And of course, very important, label:

After I finished I placed it in a fishtank that I taped black/white plastic around and in. I also placed the other cuts in there (the two on the right). I hope they will recover through the humidity (100%). I put lights for plants in and they are being lighted 12/12.

Well that's about it for now. I'll post again in about a week. After I spent so much time with this post and trying to preview (to no avail), I hope that the pictures are also in here.

Thanks again for your time. I wish all success and high times.

Peace,

Update:

Still not much going on. I have repotted three of the plants in their larger pots. The gender of the plants is still unknown, but I had to get them in the cab for odour controll.

Here is a pic of the cab:

Here are a couple of pics of one plant in week five:

And a second plant:

And the mutated plant:

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back next week to post a couple of pictures.

Well it's been almost a week since my last update.

Two of my plants decided to show their sex and unfortunately both are males. :badday:

Here is the first one:

And the mutated plant is also male. Here are a couple of pics:

Since the other two are taking longer to show their sex, I hope that they are female.

I'll get back up again next week.

Thanks for stopping by and wish you all a nice week.

High Digitalhippy,

thanks that you have taken time to read my diary.

Thanks for the complement and suggestion. I would like to get my plants closer to the light, but in my first grow I burnt the tops of my plants (despite cooltube). I've talked to a couple of grower friends of mine and they told me to try and keep about 30 cm space between light and top of the plants. Since then my plants haven't been burnt. But if you have a good solution to this problem, I would definetly be grateful.

What's up all.

It turns out that from five plants, only one is female.

Here's a couple of male pics:

And a couple of female pics :woohoo: :

I'm going to get the female out in the garden as soon as possible. Hopefully the summer will be good, so that I can at least get a good yield. As soon as the plant is in the garden, I won't be able to report on it.

But, I have taken two cuts from the female. One of the cuts is doing good and the other one still has to get roots. As soon as they are interesting to report about, then I will be posting them. I have more plants growing on my balcony, but I will report on them as soon as it gets interesting.

Well that's all for now. Wish all a nice weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Peace,

Overseas Grow continues......

Overseas Grow continues......

What's up all.

It's been a while since I've posted and thought it is a good time for a Update of what is in my cab.

As I stated in a earlier Post, I've started a second grow on my balcony. I started out with 25 seeds. Top44 x H19 x Skunk, Top 44 x unknown Sativa and Top 44. I bred all the seeds myself.

It turned out that all of the Top 44 were males. I only got one female out of the T44 x H19 x Skunk. I got three females out of the T44 x unknown Sativa.

And I still have the H19 x Skunk Cut.

So here are a couple of pics. Hopefully you all enjoy the pics.

Week 1 on the balcony:

End of Week 1:

End of Week 2 on the balcony:

After two weeks on the balcony, I placed them in a unused fishtank. They started to give a distinct scent, that I could smell as soon as I came through the front door. They stayed in the fishtank for approximately four weeks.

Here are a couple of pics from Weeks 1 and 2 in the fishtank:

Here are pics of how the females look now.

First pic is the H19 x Skunk Cut that I have taken. It is now in the fourth week of flower:

A group pic of the T44xH19xSkunk and T44xunknown Sativa:

A couple of pics T44xH19xSkunk third week of flower:

Here is the first T44xunknown Sativa female. She is in the second week of flower:

Bud pic:

Here is the second T44xunknown Sativa female. She is in the first week of flower:

And the third T44xunknown Sativa female. She is in the fifth day of flower:

And here are three other T44xunknown Sativa. From the way they look, I predict that they are going to be males.

Well that's all for now. I hope you all enjoyed the Update and I'll get back in next week for a Update.

Thanks for stopping by.

Til then, I wish you all a pleasant week and happy growing.

What's up all.

Here comes my new update.

Hope you all enjoy the pics.

First the H19xSkunk cut. Unfortunately my cam is not the best on the market. The color of the pistils (?) are starting to turn dark yellow/ orange and most of the trichs are cloudy. I'll be harvesting her next week.

Here is a couple of group pics of T44xH19xSkunk and my T44xunknown Sativas. I'm starting to have height problems with the T44xunknown Sativas. Unfortunately they didn't become much of the Indica traits. Maybe the Indica traits will be in the high. I have to wait to find out.

Here are a couple of pics from the T44xH19xSkunk week 5 of flower:

The first T44xunknown Sativa week 3 of flower:

The second T44xunknown Sativa week 2 of flower:

The third T44xunknown Sativa week 2 of flower:

Two of the three last plants that I was uncertain of have turned out to be females.

Well that's all for now. I'll get in again next week for an update.

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace all,

What's up all.

It's been awhile since I last posted. I was busy taking care of personal business and I had problems with the electricity in my appartment. My landlord and electricians were here over the last three weeks to find the problem. I was worried that my growcloset was the reason for the problem. The electricians had found the short circuit. It was in our bathroom. They installed new circuits in the whole appartment and finished the installation on Tuesday.

Due to the fact that I didn't have electricity, I had to harvest my ladies before I contacted my landlord and electricians.

Here are the last pictures of this grow. Hope you all enjoy.
