Overclocking a cmh de 1000watt to 1150watts

They will probably get too hot. Boom is the next step... or just burn out. Nothing good.

Thanks guys for the advice. A cultilux rep said if it blew he would replace it. Had no idea what would happen though even though they partnered with revolution deva that can boost it up to 1150.

I'm 3 cycles in on a $53 630W DE CMH Chinese bulb in a Gavita flex overclocked to 700 watts.

tastes great, less filling. no way am I expecting or need it to last for 20K hours tho...

Why not just get 2 X 600 watts lights for a total of 1200 watts instead?
