Over wintered seedling: Mini Panama Haze

Two years ago i grow a couple of Panama Haze. The resulting weed had one or two seeds in it, not a lot, so not an issue. Last spring i gave some of the seed to a friend, explaning that they would be females, but that they may be prone to hermie. Well, he grew a couple and suprissingly they didn't hermie, but must have sprung up just one or two bananas, as when smoking a spliff, i found a seed. I was sitting in the garden at the time and it was a lovely sunny December day. Well, i popped it i the ground, not with ay real thought of it growing. To my suprisse it came up!. I knew it wouldn't come to much, but didn't have the heart to kill it!. The weather was getting chilly, so at night i put an upturned plastic water bottle (bottom cut out) over her, to keep her warm. She continued to grow, but really slowly. In Febuary, i noticed she was starting to flower! At the solstice i decieded to put a upturned dustbin over her at 7pm, removing it at 8am the next morning.
Here she is!

Origanally there were many tops but they were so crammed in i reduced them to only just four, several weeks ago.

The plant has a lot more purple than either the origanal Panama Haze, or it's self pollenated offspring. So far there are no sign of nanas. I'll keep put the dustbin over her at night and wait till she's ready. It will be interestig to see how it turns out.

hehehehhe we are very lucky here in some areas of Spain to have such good weather in winter and be able to grow such nice well developed bonsais like yours Hombre del mont :D

Those few seeds found in the plant of unknown origin are called in Spain 'bastardas' .... if you were not playing with pollen then there are usually 2 main possibilities as source of the pollen donor of your 'bastard' seeds:
1) hermie pollen from same plant or from another slight hermie plant nearby.
2) Someone else pollen from other garden.

Still putting up new flowers. I've decieded to reduce the hours of light it gets further. At 6.30pm the dustbin goes over it and comes off again at 8am.

I'm sorry to say that 6days ago I noticed some nanas appearing so decided to chop her. On closer inspection I found a little rot; We did have quite a bit of rain and she was under an upturned dustbin for 13.5 hrs every night.

So I cleaned her up and hung her until this morning. The glands were not fully mature but I'm hoping that by "cobbing" her that they will do so.
Since my last few attempts at cobbing my dehydrator which I used for the initial ferment has broken so I'm just leaving them in a warm but totally dark spot in the garden. Should work ok I reckon.
